Rationale:

This lesson plan is for higher secondary level student so that it should be more enjoyable and interesting for students. Students will
take more initiative to participate in the class activities. The teacher plays an important role to give them an enjoyable and interesting
class where his /her enthusiastic nature will make the class successful. So, the teacher should keep that mind that he/she should behave
friendly and co operative during the lesson.

This lesson does not follow any particular method and it is a mixed of different methods which is called eclecticism. According to Wali
(2009), “In teaching practice, many have to come to favor of eclecticism, which generally holds that although no single ELT method can meet all
teaching and learning needs, thus teachers need a set of principles to adapt their teaching procedure to the specific circumstances.”

There will be pair and group works in the class and students will engage in a meaningful conversation and that totally support the CLT
approach. The teacher is also applying TBLT approach because he/she engages student into a meaning full task like making poster
about climate change using the target language.

So it is clear that the teacher is mainly following the eclectic view because he/she is trying to accept the fact that every class room is
different from each another and mixed of different methods will enhance the learning ability of the students.
Anticipated problems:

Sometimes, students won’t want to seat with others except friend. In that case, teacher will let them to seat with their friends because
it is very elementary level class. Students will feel comfortable with their friends aside and that will ensure an effective pair/group
work.
