Libya Oil’s Safety, Health and Environment Policy specifies acceptable product safety practice for the sale of OiLibya brand of lubricants. Reference to this policy is advised
to ensure company practices conform.

MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS

A material safety data Sheet (MSDS) is available for each of the products listed in this Catalogue. The MSDS describes health, safety and environment hazards and precautions
for product transportation, use and disposal. The MSDS also includes first aid and precautions for handling spills and fires. Users of products should consult the MSDS
concerning the product’s use and disposal.

FOOD INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS

No OiLibya brand of lubricants should be used or be recommended for sale to be added as an intended part of any food, feed or drink except where Libya Oil Kenya Limited
deems such use and where an applicable industry & local regulations exist upon which reference will be made to ensure that the product and its proposed use meet all of
the requirements of that standard.

POTABLE WATER SYSTEM

OiLibya brand of lubricants must not be disposed to potable water systems. Also, used oil must be disposed and all spills must be contained and cleaned in accordance to
the local regulations as laid down by the National Environment Management Authority.

COMPRESSORS FOR BREATHING AIR SYSTEMS

No OiLibya brand of lubricant is recommended for Oil-lubricated reciprocating compressors supplying breathing air either for medical use or directly to workers.
Libya Oil does not recommend the use of any of its products as filter oils for air conditioning units.

POLYCHLORINATED BIPHENYL (PCB)

OiLibya brand of Oils are manufactured from virgin base oils and therefore, do not contain PCBs.

prevented and pre-ignition is minimised, providing more efficient use of fuel. It is pre-diluted to ensure rapid mixing when it

Product Description
OiLibya Brake Fluid is a high performance DOT 4 fluid based on glycol ether technology for use in automotive brake and clutch systems
with a boiling point 2600C (5000F).

Application
Automotive brake and clutch systems. OiLibya Brake Fluid is suitable for all disc, drum, and anti-skid braking systems used in average to high performance vehicles requiring
DOT 3 or DOT 4 performance. OiLibya brake fluid must be used in its concentrated form enclosed in a previously unopened or well resealed container. Due to its hygroscopic
nature, always seal the container immediately after use as the fluid absorbs moisture from the atmosphere quite rapidly which would reduce service life significantly.
Brake fluid can damage the vehicles paint work, so remove spills immediately without rubbing. It is recommended that fluid be drained from the vehicle every 2 years or
40,000 kms and refilled. Never reuse drained brake fluid. Check vehicle owner’s handbook for details.

Product Description
A conventional concentrated green coloured antifreeze containing inhibitors providing protection from freezing overheating,
rust and corrosion when used as recommended. OiLibya Coolant Concentrate features a universal low silicate formula for use
in all conventional automobiles and light duty trucks and protects all cooling system metal surfaces including aluminum.
When used in heavy-duty applications, the addition of a separate Supplemental Coolant Additive (SCA) is required.

ATF IID is recommended for automatic and manual transmissions in passenger cars and light trucks specifying Dexron IID level performance as well as the related power

Product Description
OiLibya Flushing Oil is used to reduce damaging sludge and varnish and extend the life of your engine during used
engine Oil drain. OiLibya Flushing Oil greatly assists in cleaning the engine of potentially damaging contaminants,
through its advanced formulation; it dissolves and dislodges harmful sludge, dirt, varnish and other contaminants
that accumulate within an engine’s lubrication system.
