Metodología
El curso es en modalidad e-learnig desarrollado a partir de 5 módulos, compuestos por:

 Competencias básicas, genéricas y específicas.

 Generalidades del Módulo de Inglés de la Prueba SABER PRO. Video (Coordinadora Mónica A
Cuéllar).
 Tips for the exam 1. (Explicit instruction).

La metodología de aprendizaje propuesto se basa en aprendizaje autónomo y guiado por el
contenido del módulo. con entrega y orientado por los tutores virtuales.

Recomendaciones:
 Dedicarle como mínimo 3 horas semanales para el estudio y desarrollo de cada módulo.
 Conectividad a internet.
 Contar con al menos un dispositivo electrónico con conexión a internet (Smartphone, Tablet, y/o
Computadora).
 Seleccione un lugar y hora diaria para trabajar en el curso.
 Abra el espacio con la certeza de que es el momento propicio para dedicarse y que tiene el tiempo
exacto para las actividades.

Compromisos del Estudiante

 Para el desarrollo de las actividades de cada módulo y dentro del desarrollo del curso debe tener
presente las competencias planteadas, debe revisar los contenidos de los tips para la presentación
de pruebas de inglés en exámenes tipo SABER PRO (Instrucción Explícita.)
 Debe desarrollar los test de ejemplo teniendo en cuenta la instrucción explicita para contestar el
módulo de Ingles en la prueba SABER PRO.
 Finalmente debe realizar los Sample Test (Test de Práctica) al finalizar el módulo.
 En cada módulo esta planteadas las actividades y estrategias de práctica, por favor realice todas las
actividades sugeridas.

Herramientas
 Calendario: En este espacio podrá consultar las fechas de apertura de cada módulo, foros,
evaluaciones y demás actividades del curso.
 Biblioteca: En esta sección encontrará bibliografía relacionada con los temas vistos.
 Glosario: Aquí se recopilan los diferentes términos utilizados al desarrollo de este diplomado.
 Ejercicios de autoevaluación: Se desarrollarán al final del módulo (test de práctica) y tienen el
propósito de monitorear tu aprendizaje.
 Foros: Espacio de interacción colaborativa para discutir las preguntas orientadoras, interactuar con
sus compañeros y profesores.
 Evaluación
Por ser un curso libre y fuera de la malla curricular no tendrá calificación numérica.

Certificado
 Aprobatorio: Por definir.
 No se reprueba.

Contends
The CONTENDS comprises TWO Sessions: Session ONE is how to answer properly each of the five
Parts of the Test using tips for each one. There are two examples for each one.

In session TWO there are two practice Workshops which are simulations of the 45 questions of the
real Test. In the end, you can find the number of Correct and the incorrect questions answered and
the total final score of the test.

Session 1 -Tips with explicit instruction

It is the called Explicit Instruction. In this part, you are given some instructions (Tips) about how to
answer the five different parts which comprises the whole test. These parts are as follow:

The student gets a list of eight different words classified from A to H. Each of the questions describes one
Question Type: Part 1 of the eight words and the idea is that student is demanded to search the relationship of the two of them
and mark the right answer (A to H ) in the answer sheet. There more options that the student really need.

The student gets five short conversations. He/she has to complete the conversation choosing
Question Type: Part 2
the right answer among the three different options: A. B and C. in is/her answer sheet.

The student gets a text with eight blanks which are to be filled just choosing the right word for
Question Type: Part 3
each blank, among the options A, B and C. in his/her answer sheet.

The student gets a Reading text and next seven questions which are to be answered choosing
Question Type: Part 4
the right answer among the options: A, B or C. in his/her answer sheet.

The student gets a reading text which contains 10 blanks. He/she is supposed to fill in the blanks
Question Type: Part 5 choosing the right answer for each of the blanks among the four options given: A.B or C in
his/her answer sheet.
After each Explicit Information (Tips) you find two practice exercises to train how to answer this kind
of questions properly.

(After each answer, you get the feedback. You have two tries in total).
