1.Course Introduction
To give an insight into the framework of manufacturing planning and control, master planning of resources,
analysis of issues related to scheduling in different types of production system looking at the totality of
supply chain.

2. Course Learning Outcome (CLO)

1. Providing essential concepts in developing Integrated Manufacturing /Operations Planning or Control


System, familiarize with Demand Management, Aggregate Planning, Capacity Planning, MRP, JIT and
Shop floor control techniques.

2. Develop skills in designing appropriate MPC Systems to achieve Competitive Advantage in terms of
response and delivery time and cost in alignment with supply chain management strategy.
