Acest imp verbal Se formeaza cu ajutorul prezentulul verbului TO BE si verbul de conjugat cu terminalia ING. ‘ox: My cousin IS skatING on the frozen lake now. 360LIMBA ENGLEZA The two friends ARE playING golf at the moment. 1AM workING on a project right now. Nota bene: 4. Terminafia ING nu modifica Y final (playing, trying, crying). 2. La verbele care se termind in E, acesta este indepartat si se adauga ING (make - making, take - taking, demonstrate - demonstrating). Excepti: to be — being, to see ~ seeing 3. La verbele care se termina tn consoand, aceasta se dubleaza daca este precedata de o vocal accentuaté (stop ~ stopping, admit — admitting, run — running, get — getting). 4. Verbele care se termina in IE transforma aceasta pereche de vocale in Y si apoi se adaugas ‘erminatia ING (to lie - ying, to tie - tying, to die - dying). Interogativul se formeaza prin simpia inversiune a subiectului cu auxiiarul TO BE, €ex.: She IS making the coffee. IS she making the coffee?
