Abstract—FM Jammer circuit is used for blocking

different frequencies at a certain distance. Jammer

circuit produces a noise which superimposes with
the nearby frequency and causes disturbance in the
receiver.

I.INTRODUCTION

Earlier when we used analog signal for

communication, the jammer circuit was very easy to
make just by producing high frequencies signals, but
today things are completely changed. Nowadays
digital devices are used which produce a very high
frequency signal. This signal is not very easy to block,
so now we need more high frequencies signals to jam
the original signal which will create noise in the
receiver. The High frequency signal produced by
jammer confuses the receiver to receive its original
signal even though its circuit is working properly. The
user feels its circuit is faulty. The frequency signals
produced by the jammer are usually noise which mixes
with the main signal and causes disturbance.

Here the tank circuit is used for producing high
frequency signal which consists of inductor L1 and
variable capacitor C1, the capacitor C1 is variable so
that we can produce different frequency signal by
adjusting the variable capacitor. The value of inductor
is fixed and the value of capacitor is varied by rotating
the screw. This will produce different frequencies
according to the value of capacitor. When the 1st
transistor is turned ON, the tank circuit will start its
operation and produce the very high frequency signal
which will jam or create the noise in the signal. Due to
this the receiver cannot receive the signal. Even if the
signal is received, it cannot be used by the receiver
circuit. Here the resistor R1 and R2 are used for
biasing with stabilizes the Q point and the resistor R3
is used for limiting the emitter current in the circuit.

Formula for calculating different frequency:

F=1/2*π*sqrt(L*C)

V.APPLICATIONS

● Jammers are normally used in government offices

in different countries.
● They are mainly used by army, navy and air force.
● Jammer circuit is very useful in war like situation.

VI.LIMITATIONS

● This circuit works only in certain range, so we have

to adjust accordingly.
● This type of device is normally banned in different
countries. Using this circuit is illegal.
● Here we have to change the value of capacitor at
every instance to get different frequency which
sometimes becomes very tedious.
