Online MCQ Exam Software

As part of the Internal Assessment, an online MCQ exam is conducted every semester
for all UG and PG students. This comprehensive Online MCQ Exam Software has been
developed for this purpose using HTML and PHP as the front end and MySQL as the back end.
This software works best using Google Chrome.

The users of this Online MCQ Exam software can be assigned any one of the following
roles: Administrator, Staff or Student.

STUDENT:

1. Open Google Chrome Browser.

2. Type the URL, grdmcqonline.com
3. Login page will be displayed.
4. Enter the Register number as User name and Date of Birth as password.

3. Students home page will be displayed

4. Click the CHOOSE SUBJECT tab to choose a subject from the list of Subjects.

7. Select the respective subject.

8. Click on the third Tab ENTER TEST to start the exam

9. The questions page will be displayed.

10. An option must be selected for each question to get the SUBMIT button enabled.

11. If any mathematical calculations are to be done, the students can use the inbuilt calculator by
clicking on CALC OPEN to open and CALC CLOSE to close the calculator.

12. The students cannot move from the MCQ page to another application or move back to the
answered questions to re-answer it. If done a warning message will be displayed and marks will
be reduced from the total scores accordingly.

13. After completing the test, click on SHOW MY SCORES.

14. The Scores page will be displayed with the scores obtained by the student.
