Abstract
In this practice, the effect of solubility, boiling point, carbon formation, thermal stability
and melting point, having physico-chemical changes for some reagents where it was
evident that not all reagents are soluble was observed as four samples were taken in
which employ different potassium nitrate, sodium chloride, benzoic acid, and starch, the
only two of them which are soluble (potassium nitrate and sodium chloride), and thus
the remaining two are not being benzoic acid and the starch insoluble reagents. As the
boiling point is taken into account two important factors, which were time and
temperature using two reagents, water (H2O) and acetone to carbon formation a role I
was used to burn and two reagents such as, sucrose and NaCl, for thermal stability and
NaCl was used to observe its change starch directly into a capsule and placed in the
plate, and finally in the work melting point oil, to observe the procedure and reaction.
Therefore, the objective of this practice was to identify the differences between organic
and inorganic compounds of some reactive when exposed to heat and be clearly visible
to the human eye.
