Doctor 1 : “Hi Mr. Abdul. I’m Dr. Fatan and my partner name’s Dr. Endang. The interest.
It’s nice to meet you. Tell me a little bit about what been going on with Iki”
Mr. Abdul : “He was sick last week. He had breathing shortness, cough, have a mucus, and
breath sound is wheezing. So, we know there’s a cough going around. Because
they are not give CT Scan to him. And than we were waiting four hours to CT
Scan. I just worry about breath system my child”
Doctor 1 : “I know you have been waiting for a long time. I’m sorry about that. Oh, he was
sick last week and he had breathing shortness, cough, have a mucus and breath
sound wheezing. But, i look at the CT Scan and i’m afraid i have some bad news
for you. It look like he is got a cronic obstructive pulmonary disease”
Mr. Abdul : (merenung sejenak)
“Are you sure ?”
Doctor 2 : “Yeah, i check very carefully the CT Scan and i look he had the symptom from
his lungs. So that the lung is inflammation. And result in narrowing of the airways
wich eventually feels tightness. COPD is a type of obstructive pulmonary disease
that occurs when there is poor airflow that cannot be repaired throughly and
cronically and there is inability to exhale in full. Nerrowing of the airways occur
due to inflammation and scarring in them. This causes difficulty when exhaling
completely. The greatest reducion in air flow occurs when exhaling, because the
pressure in the chest compresses the airways at the time. Usually, this condition
will get worse over time, and this has been quite severe in attacking your child”
Mr. Abdul : “Oh, i really shock”
Doctor 2 : “The shortness of your child illness based on the result of the CT Scan is cronic
obstructive cronic disease. He had the symptom from his lungs. So that the lung
is inflammation. And result in narrowing of the airways wich eventually feels
tightness”
Mr. Abdul : “I was really shock to hear this news”
Doctor 2 : “I know this is be really hard new to hear”
Mr. Abdul : “Give the best support for him”
Doctor 2 : “Okay, we are going to be with you every step and than we can keep taking good
care of him. We are goin to surgery and try to cure from lungs”
Mr. Abdul : “What is the surgery dangerous ?”
 Doctor 1 : “I hope everyone know about the surgery. Because will only attach the breath
apparatus in the trachea, and this surgery not dangerous.
I will look schedule and tomorrow i would give some medicine, that is a
kortikosteroid for inflammation in her lung, and than Tuesday morning we will
do the surgery, and last about 3 hours”
Doctor 2 : “What do you have a question ?”
Mr. Abdul : “No, because your information very enought”
Doctor 1 : “I hope get well soon for your child and immediately go home”
Mr. Abdul : “Oke, thanks you doctor”
Doctor 1 : “you’re welcome”

In Nurse station, there was 2 nurse prepare to give order medication to Mr. Iki.
Deti : “Hallo, Good Morning. What are you doing?”
Nabila : “Morning, I would give some medicine to Mr. Iki”
Deti : “Oh, May I help you?”
Nabila : “Sure, can you help me to check medical record Mr. Iki and I would check in
order administration.
Deti : “Oh oke. I see here the name is Mr. Iki Simanjuntak. His birthday is 1 March
1999. And number medrek is 4569”
Nabila : “Oke. Can you help me again to check medicine order to Mr. Iki?”
Deti : “Sure. I can help you”
Nabila : “The medicine is prednisolone 5 mg, and teofilin 150 mg”
Deti : “Yeah. Everything is clear”
Nabila : “Oke. Now we should give medication order to Mr. Iki”
Deti : “Oke”

In Patient Room.
Nabila : “Hallo. Good morning?”
Abdul : “Morning”
Nabila : “I am nurse Nabila and nurse Deti. We are working today at 07.00 a.m
until 02.00 p.m. Sorry what’s your name?”
Abdul : “My name is Iki”
Nabila : “Can I check your bracelet?”
Abdul : “Sure”
Nabila : “Oke Mr. Iki. How are you today?”
Abdul : “I still breathless and I feel pain in the chest”
Deti : “Because you still breathless and you feel pain in your chest. So today
I wanna give you medicine. Mr. Iki I wanna give you prednisolone
medicine 10 mg this is that steroid medicine to help your breathing and I will
give you teofilin medicine 150 mg this is that derivat xanthine. Do you have
allergic some medicine?”
Abdul : “Yes. I am just allergic Aspirin Medicine”
Deti : “Oh oke. Do you have questions about medicine?”
Abdul : “Yes. When the schedule for taking the medicine? Because I am afraid to
forget”
Deti : “Dont worry Mr. Iki. Because we will come if you had to take medicine. Do
you have any questions again?”
Abdul : “No. Thank You nurse”
Deti : “Oke we will back to nurse station. If you need me please press the button on
your right and 3 hours I wil back to check your vital signs”
Abdul : “Oke nurse. Thank you”
