Pokémon Summer Camp 2019 Planning Packet

The best Pokémon trainers have to start somewhere. Learn how to play the card game, build a
battle-ready deck, and trade cards with fellow trainers. Show off your skills in our end of the
week tournament. Gotta catch ‘em all! Hand-held game devices and Pokémon cards are
allowed in this camp. Select age-appropriate video clips may be shown. Camps are split by age.

Opening
9:00-9:15 Introductions
Ice breaker
-Name, favorite pokémon, why?
9:15-9:30 Camp overview and rules. Create a list of camp expectations with the campers
Activities
9:30-10:00 Gym Activity
Choose Your Starter Pokémon (Fire, Water, Grass)
-Counselors will act as the pokémon. Campers will have to chase after
and “catch” them.
