Abstract - In the present era of technological advancements, evaluating the authenticity of a website is the
need of the hour. Our solution is to design an efficient Website Evaluation system that rates websites on the
basis of user comments. We use HTML, CSS, ASP.net as front end, SQL Management Studio as backend
and use Natural Language Processing to implement the solution. Parameters for evaluation include
authenticity of the website, efficiency in delivering the services as advertised and providing good customer
support. A database of keywords constantly updated by the admin will be used to evaluate the website and
users will be able to see the rating of every website added by the admin.

I. NATURE OF THE STUDY

The evaluation of a website is very important to try and group websites into fraudulent and trust-worthy categories.
As many of the internet users use online transactions, their data will be at risk if they login to some fraudulent
site. By using our website, a user can easily share their review about the website. System will rate the website
based on comments of various users. System will match the keywords in database and will rate the website based
on Sentiment Analysis. Since system ranks the website based on weightage of keywords in database, so result is
appropriate. We use Natural Language Processing algorithm by incorporating Sentiment Analysis and Opinion
Mining techniques on Visual Studio Code and SQL management server for the implementation of our project.

II. APPLICATIONS
In a vast community of internet users, it is the need of the hour to have a system that can minimize the risk of
dealing with fraudulent and fake websites that have nefarious intentions and are constantly looking to misuse a
user’s data and also illegally siphon off the amount transferred by unsuspecting users to their own accounts. The
society in general and the vast number of internet users in particular would stand to benefit from such an evaluation
system.

Our solution sees a vast range of applications in terms of providing security and detecting fraudulent websites.
The applications are explained in detail below:
 Our application can be used to detect cases of Internet Fraud and help curb instances of fake advertising
where-in fraudsters post fake ads on advertising websites at temptingly low prices and unsuspecting
shoppers place orders with them. The shoppers are told to pay a certain processing or shipping fee and
after the payment is made, the fraudulent sellers erase their online presence.
 The second application of our solution is to help prevent hacking. A person’s personal accounts such as
Gmail, Facebook etc. can be compromised when a user gains unauthorised access to their usernames and
passwords. These details are revealed by gullible users on certain fraudulent websites which are on the
lookout for a user’s personal details.
 The third application of our solution is in preventing spamming. Users divulge their email ids on certain
websites which then send spam emails to the user containing unnecessary content not relevant to the user
and cause mental harassment on the part of the user.
 Another important application of our website evaluation system is to weed out websites indulging in
fraudulent transactions when users transfer money over the internet by siphoning off the amount to other
accounts. This can be addressed by user comments on our Website Evaluation System.

The system designed by us is able to provide answers to the above practical and generic scenarios, and could
prove to be an excellent resource for enterprises, thought-leaders or anyone for that matter in the gathering,
sentimental analysis, summarization and visualization of data related to their purposes. The system does not only
take into account the holistic sentiment expressed in a review or even a sentence, but further breaks-down each
review into sentences, and the sentences again into tokens, to analyze the sentiment corresponding to each relevant
token individually, and then calculates the overall sentiment as well, in a bottom-up fashion.
The advantage of these techniques derives from their capacity to investigate solutions in expansive search spaces
in an exceptionally effective manner alongside minimal beginning data. In addition, using SI techniques is an
interesting way to deal with adapt practically speaking to the NP-completeness of employment scheduling. In this
part we will clarify quickly the methods used in this work; At long last, the entire algorithm will be presented
including pseudo code and information stream chart.
