Entrust your dream to Assurance 

By being up-front with our customers about costs and project timelines, we take the uncertainty
out of building your dream home and ensure that everything meets your standards and ours.

We know that any construction project can be stressful, so we exercise great care in both the
planning and building process:

● First, we come to your home for a free consultation that lasts approximately one hour.

● Next, we draft the scope of work and budget for our initial services, which could include
site assessment, architectural plans and preparing a detailed building budget. [icon:

● Then we let you work with our in-house architect to translate your dream home onto
paper, whether in the form of a Southern Living home or a custom plan. [icon: pencil]

● Once a building plan is finalized, we will prepare a budget. There will be flexibility for
selecting specific finishes, fittings and appliances at a later date. [icon: dollar sign]

● Next, once an agreement on scope and budget is reached, construction will begin. The
first step is to prepare the site and lay the foundation. [icon: bulldozer]

● After that comes the framing, plumbing, and electrical wiring of the house. City
inspections will occur along the construction process. [icon: hammer]

● Once we start installing drywall and exterior finishes, decisions will need to be made
about finishes, fittings and appliances. [icon: shower head]

● When all that is decided, we then install all the fittings, appliances and finishes as well as

● Next, we apply the final aesthetic touches to the home’s exterior landscaping. [icon:

● After construction and final touches are complete, we do one last walk through with you

Get to know our team 

James Cook 

James began his career in construction during his summers while attending Clemson University
where he earned his degree in Construction Science and Management.

Now, he has over 15 years of experience in the industry and oversees all of the
construction-related details at each of our project homes.

James believes that one’s home should be a source of great comfort and pride for the whole
family, being a family man himself with a wife and 2 children.

When he’s not busy building dream homes, James enjoys taking the boat out on the lake for a
fishing trip with the family.

Danny Field 

Danny drives the creative spirit behind Assurance. Using his architectural skills and natural
artistic abilities, Danny helps homeowners draft out their ideas of a dream home and settle on a
design plan, be it a ​Southern Living​ modified plan or a custom one of their own.

After graduating from Clemson University with a Masters degree in Architecture, Danny went on
to work at a prestigious architecture firm in Charleston for 10 years before deciding to make the
move back home to Greenville.

As a member of The National Association of Home Builders, designing dream homes is Danny’s
passion, but he also enjoys settling down with a good book or going on a long hike with his
Labrador, Beau.

Sarah Price 

Sarah is the brains behind our operation. She handles the business side of Assurance including
everything from marketing to finances. Sarah came to work with Assurance after meeting James
and Danny while they designed and built her own home.

Before that, Sarah earned her MBA from Anderson University and went on to manage a
successful recruitment firm for 8 years.

A wife and mother of 3, when she’s not busy balancing our books, Sarah enjoys spending time
with her family and volunteering in her community.
