WORK EXPERIENCE

Complex Caregiver

Home Services - Toronto, ON - May 2016 - Present 



One on One care and interaction with a medically complex child with many different special needs and
requirements. 24 hour monitoring, along with enhanced medical training required to care for the client to
the best of my ability. The client requires tube feeding and has had both an NG tube, a mac-loc and now
a Mic-key button gastric tube. Training in changing a g-tube along with how to insert a foley catheter in
case of emergencies. Knowledge of checking placement of NG tube as well as confirming and correcting
the insertion of the NG tube. Communicating through basic sign language to assist with hearing loss
along with a language and communication disorder. Assist with exercises prescribed by the OT, PT and
Speech and Language Pathologist working with the client. Accompany the client to any and all doctors
appointments, due to his immobility walking /commuting is difficult. Due to feeding aversion daily practi-
sing of eating, and drinking is preformed as well as daily bolus feeds are given through feeding pump.
However the client has received feeds via syringe and gravity previously. Administer any and all prescribed
medications via gastric tube, and apply any topical creams to the stoma as prescribed. Assist with proper
wear of Ponsetti boots & bars as well as hinged AFO’s prescribed to help with proper foot placement.

Trip Planner/ Trip Manager

S-Trip / I Love Travel - Calgary, AB/ Toronto, ON - March 2015 to July 2017 

As the right hand of our sales team and the main point of contact for our Student Representatives, our
Trip Managers administer and grow accounts after booking. Through phone and email communication,
you will assist student leaders in growing passenger numbers, provide monthly updates about their Trip,
and assist with retention, all while continuously building and maintaining great relationships with our pas-
sengers. The team consists of young, hardworking, enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about stu-

Hostess/Desserts/ Server Support

Seat guests at tables, provide bussing when needed during busy dinner rush. When working in desserts, I
prepare all slices of cake and other desserts that are ordered as well as handle take out cheesecake orders
throughout the night. When assisting the servers, on a nightly basis I assist with food running to tables as
well as bringing water and coffee orders to tables in need of refreshments.
Project Manager Assistant
