Buffalo High School

Title Pag 1
High school is an
incredible time for ev-
ery student here at
BHS. We have been
given the chance to
learn a wonderful base
of knowledge that
should help us all for
the rest of our lives .
...............=...!

Friends, family, and fun are also important keystones to our educa-
tional process. We have had oppurtunities to get to know many different
people from different walks of life. Farm kids, city kids, we're all the same
and yet so different. We've been able to learn acceptance for the different
ways people pass through the school halls and we have decided on differ-
ent ways to go through our high school experience. Some have taken phys-
ics and advanced livestock while others have taken biology and wood shop.
Everyone here in this school shares a special bond to our fellow
classmates. For those of us who
are leaving this year it has been a
long, yet short journey and we will
take a piece of this place when
we go. For those just beginning,
MAKE THE MOST OF IT!

The staff here at Buffalo High School has
helped shape and mold young individuals for de-
cades. Some have taught us about chemical bond-
ing and horses, while others have taught us tax
law and agriculture. No matter what they teach
they all share the common bond of caring for their
students. Hopefully the student body will let
them know that they are all deeply appreciated
and loved.

Imagine standing in front of a crowd of
people, and being looked down on. Your hands are
sweaty, and butterflies are in your stomach. You
are trying to smile, but your knees are shaking.
This does not sound very encouraging, but this is how
the Buffalo Bison Cheerleaders feel before a game.
This year the 2002-2003 cheerleaders have dealt with
many changes including a new coach, new cheerlead-
ers, and ill cheerleaders. Although, these difficul-
ties occured they kept the spirit up. They help in-
volve the school in the pep assemblies and at the
games. They pump up our sports players by being
very enthusiastic. This years cheerleaders have been
very helpful to the student participation.

Soaring in the
r, B
and the JV squad
have come a long
way this year.

Before the pep assembly,

Senior Ashley Sharpe,
Sophomore Ashlee Cotter,
and Senior Krista
Monteith, get together
for a group picture.

The junior varsity squad decided to take a break.
Cheering takes a lot out of them.

Giving the camera a big

smile, Senior Krista
Monteith says "cheese."
