SPRO path: Payroll->Payroll: India->Absences

In this activity, you describe absences according to your company requirements

regarding absence valuation in Payroll. You describe absences by defining rules for
absence valuation.
Absences that must be processed in the same way through the assignment of
absence valuation rules are grouped in this step.
According to the absence valuation rules, you define how specific employee
absences must be valuated in payroll in the subsequent operation phases.
NOTE: For Half Day leave we will change Percentage field from 100% to 50% in the above
screen
NOTE: We have to change the processing class 10 as 1 (Reduction with factor /801) to get
the effect of LOP. So we have to change the processing class of all the wage types which will
get affected by LOP.

Loss Of Pay Configuration
This question is answered

There is a situation where we create an Absence type in Infotype 2001. When we create an
absence, it should deduct one day pay for each deduction automatically.

I need to know how this Absence can be linked to payroll for deduction. I need the IMG steps
for PY side. It for International Payroll.

Thanks

Hi,

For your scenario u have to configure 'Absence Valuation'.Follow the below steps.

(A)SPRO->Payroll:International->Absences.

(1)SPRO->Payroll:International->Absences->Describe Absence Valuation Rules

Create one Absence valuation rule Ex: 01-UNPAID

(2)SPRO->Payroll:International->Absences->Group Absences For Absence Valuation

Assign the defined Absence valuation rule(01-UNPAID) to the leavetype which are
Unpaid.
(B)SPRO->Payroll:International->Absences->Valuation Of Absences

(1)SPRO->Payroll:International->Absences->Valuation Of Absences->Set Up
Counting Classes for Absence Valuation

(2)SPRO->Payroll:International->Absences->Valuation Of Absences->Absence
Valuation:Expert View.

in this step Don't select the check box PAID and give percentage as 100
to the absence valuation rule defined in the first step.

After configuring the above steps, maintain LOP leave for some days,run the payroll and
check PRINT NP PART in the block Processing Of Time Data.In the table PARA the
KAU** should hold the no.of days LOP which u have created in infotype 2001.

3. Defined counting rule (chk all holiday class, chk all day type, chk all counting class for
PWS, chk all DWS

4. Assign countin rule to absence class

5. Created a Day rule (10) chkd all holiday class and chkd all day types, chkd all wk days

6. Payroll

> Defined counting class - 11 - unpaid absence

> Absence valuation: expert mode

form counting classes

CC for abse - cntng class txt - paid - percent - day rule - text for day rule

11 - unpaid abse - non chk - 100 - 10 - aipl w/o lwp

Hi Ramesh,

For Half day deductions, You need to change INP1 PCR.

Go to PE02--> Select INP1 --> Change like ZNP1, and change like below mentioned PCR here I've 8.5 hours per day that's
y I've maintained 8.5 If you have 8 hours per day change like RTE*8 & RTE/8
Then go to PE01 --> select INAL sub schema and change like ZNAL and insert this PCR (ZNP1 )

Again go to PE01--> select IN00 --> change like ZN00 and insert this sub schema ZNAL.

Then check your quota..............and run payroll..............

If still do you have any doubts kindly let me know..............

Yours

Mohan
