To  Whom  It  May  Concern,

It  is  with  great  pleasure  that  I  write  this  letter  of  recommendation  for  Ms.  Kayle  Brobst.  I  have  had  the
opportunity  of  working  with  and  observing  Ms.  Brobst  at  Roosevelt  Elementary  School  in  Allentown,
during  the  2018-‐2019  school  year.  She  left  an  incredible  impact  on  all  she  worked  with  in  her  short  stay
in  Allentown.

In  my  opinion,  she  showed  nothing  but  commitment  while  at  Roosevelt  as  a  Kutztown  student  teacher.
From  her  first  day  she  helped  plan,  teach  and  evaluate  lessons  with  me.  She  interacted  and  got  to  know
the  students  immediately.  Working  with  Learning  Support  students  can  be  a  challenge,  yet  Ms.  Brobst
made  it  her  goal  to  accommodate  each  unique  learning  style.  She  was  able  to  grasp  each  students  level
of  interest,  attention  and  ability.  As  well,  she  was  able  to  modify  and  differentiate  lessons  and  materials
for  the  grade  level  presented  to  her.

Ms.  Brobst  developed  an  amazing  rapport  with  students  and  co-‐teachers  instantly.  Her  presence  alone
made  students  so  relaxed  and  ready  to  learn.  Her  positive  approach  and  genuine  concern  for  all
students  helped  them  feel  secure  while  creating  a  sense  of  belonging  in  the  classroom.  Many  of  our
students  deal  with  emotional  and  family  challenges  and  start  the  school  day  already  dealing  with
obstacles  at  home.  Ms.  Brobst  saw  beyond  that  and  never  doubted  any  students  learning  potential  and
worked  hard  to  create  an  atmosphere  where  all  students  could  flourish.

Ms.  Brobst  showed  great  discipline  and  organizational  skills.  She  developed  amazing  relationships  with
all  the  students  and  they  still  ask  for  her  today.  She  put  immediate  smiles  on  all  the  students  faces  when
she  entered  the  classroom.  She  has  a  unique  teaching  style  with  a  mixture  of  patience,  varying  modes  of
instruction  and  most  important  humor,  in  which  she  was  immediately  able  to  grasp  students  attention.

Ms.  Brobst  is  a  responsible,  intellectual  and  caring  person  who  will  be  an  amazing  asset  in  any  school.
She  is  a  team  player  and  values  all  teachers  and  opinions.    I  recommend  Ms.  Brobst  for  any  teaching
position  she  applies  for.  It  was  a  pleasure  working  with  her  by  my  side  and  look  forward  to  the
wonderful  students  who  await  her.  Please  feel  free  to  contact  me  with  any  questions.

Thank  You,

February 2019

Kayle Brobst has been a senior pro- sem teacher in the East Penn School
District for the last seven weeks. She has worked in my first grade classroom
with small groups and delivering whole class instruction as well. Her
eagerness to teach, willingness to get involved with the class, and ability to
relate to the students were Kayle’s areas of strength. Kayle has a genuine
interest in the students and she is sensitive to their individual needs.

Kayle is quite personable. She possesses great “people” skills and is able to
make others feel comfortable around her. She has those qualities so
necessary in establishing a warm and accepting classroom atmosphere.

I appreciate all of Kayle’s hard work and extra time she spent with the
children. She will be an asset to any school district.

Sincerely,

Carole Banko
