Learning Plan in Physical Education

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the student should be able to:
a. Identify and explain the different types of physical fitness activities.
b. Demonstrate understanding of the importance of FITT principle in designing exercise
program.
c. Execute the given example exercise properly.
d. Create exercise program through the given physical fitness activities that suit to their
fitness level.

Unlocking the Code
As warm-up and preparation for the lesson, the students will divide themselves
into 3 groups. Each group will try to identify the meaning of code exercise and give
specific examples of physical activity as many as they can.

C. Lesson proper

Activity No.1
a. Teacher will ask students what they know about physical fitness activities. Let them
think about the topic and let them share their idea.
b. Discuss the different types of physical fitness activities and give examples.

c. Teacher will demonstrate the basic exercise properly and explain FIIT in designing
exercise program

In this activity the students will group into 5, create and perform exercise program
consisting aerobics, resistance and flexibility training with properly design.
E. GENERALIZATION

Achieving fitness is a lifelong process. It should be a part of your lifestyle. It is


not something that is practiced only while in school, but it should be done for the rest of
your life.

F. EVALUATION
In a group, create and perform exercise program consisting aerobics, resistance
and flexibility training. Student performance will be graded according to the rubrics.
