Meaning & Style: Layout, language and design:

The theme of this 2 page spread fits with the sophisticated
theme of the magazine. The impression this magazine
likes to give is that it is a high end and civilized magazine
that does not have pictures and words scattered around.
The image is very vibrant and the colours contrast well.
This makes the image more appealing and eye catchy to
the audience.
In this 2 page spread the main image is also very large but
it is placed on the second page. The main image is of a
nicely dressed woman in front of a cyan colored back-
ground. The teal background is different to the back-
ground of the article as it is white. Something unusual is
that there is small text beside the woman on the bottom of
the page.
