SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT
(Filipino 6 months Internship)

This Internship Sponsorship Agreement is subject to following terms & conditions & Singapore Government
approval of Training Permit / Pass:

1. Training Employer: to be assigned by EWM


Department: F&B Service, Front Office, Housekeeping or Culinary as interviewed or assigned.
Monthly Allowance: SGP $450/-
Weekly Working Hours: 44
Duration of Training: 6 months

2. Dormitory accommodation is provided free-of-charge. Trainee is liable equally for the usage payment of
water, electricity & gas. Trainee is required to clean, maintain and keep the accommodation in clean
hygienic condition at all times. A monthly charge of S$10/- shall be paid by the Trainee for house cleaning
and trainee may earn it back by undertaking housecleaning duties. Damages caused shall be Trainee’s
responsibility & account. A withholding of $50/- shall be deducted from the first month's allowance for
accommodation deposit, housekeeping & utilities. Any balance would be refunded at checkout upon
completion of training.

3. Daily transport is trainee’s own cost. EWM provides return economy budget air tickets for full completion of
contract only.

4. Early repatriation or overseas leave is not permitted except only in case of critical illness or death of
immediate family member (as declared in Application Form) where documentary evidence must be
produced without demand. When granted all costs involved shall be borne by trainee. In event of
compulsory termination by Trainee due to serious personal reason, one (1) month notice is required or one
month's allowance in lieu is payable. Trainees who do not complete duration of training, for whatsoever
reason, shall also pay own return airfares, expenses, Immigration Bond and Hospitalisation Insurance
premiums and $500 administrative expenses.

5. Working schedule is strictly to employer’s schedules. Trainee may be attached to same section or
department for the complete period or rotated to various sections or departments at the sole discretion of
the Employer. The employer is entitled to terminate the training without advance notice and repatriate the
trainee for poor performance, misconduct, breaches of laws, regulations, fraternization with guests during
or after work.

6. Trainee is not allowed to work with any other employer whilst in Singapore and shall not take part in any
drugs, alcohol, illegal, immoral, dishonest, criminal or political activities while in Singapore.

7. Trainees shall not stay at any accommodation other than the accommodation provided by the Sponsor and
not allowed to bring any visitors, friends or relatives to visit or stay at the accommodation. Smoking, drugs,
alcohol consumption, gambling, sexual and undesirable activities are prohibited in the accommodation.
Trainee shall respect the privacy, health, religion, environment and comfort of other trainees living in the
accommodation. Dormitory and bedrooms are subject to EWM inspection at any time without notice and
Trainee shall fully comply with EWM accommodation regulations and Accommodation Curfew.

8. Allowance is not payable during medical leave. Medical benefits are solely in accordance with Employer’s
policy. Absence from work without approved leave or Medical Leave from accredited clinic is considered
Absence without Leave and subject to disciplinary action. Unpaid leave & Absence without leave is
deductable at overtime rates. The employer is responsible for work related medical treatment and
hospitalization only if caused directly from the employment with them. Hospitalisation Insurance is subject
to policy terms, conditions and exclusions.

9. EWM provides S$5000 Immigration Security Bond to sponsor Trainee’s stay in Singapore. Trainee hereby
undertakes, irrevocably, to fully reimburse EWM, employer or college the S$5000 if forfeited by Singapore
Immigration for any offences committed by Trainee.
10. Trainee is to fully observe and comply with the laws of Singapore, the prevailing and amended Rules and
Regulations of the Employer and EWM.

11. The Labor Code of Philippines shall not apply to this Agreement or the On the Job Training of the Trainee.
All parties, including EWM and the Employer shall not be obliged to comply with provisions of the said
Labor Code.

12. Trainee hereby undertake to keep EWM, it’s subsidiaries, Principals, employees, agents and sub
contractors indemnified and to hold them harmless against all actions, proceedings, claims, demands or
liabilities whatsoever or howsoever arising which may be brought against them or incurred or suffered by
them or arising out of or in connection with the performance of the Agreement, against and in respect of all
costs, losses, damages and expenses.

13. This Agreement is governed solely and exclusively by the laws of Singapore.

Request for safe keeping of Passport

Placement Agreement
for employment after Internship

I, ……………………………………….... nationality:………………. hereby acknowledge that my


Internship in Singapore through the professional service of EWM Consultancy Pte Ltd
(hereinafter referred to as EWM) is part of the process of securing employment opportunity with
my Internship employer.

In the event where employment is offered to me by the Internship employer, directly or through
EWM, within 12 months of completion of my internship, I, the undersigned, hereby irrevocably
agree and undertake, to pay EWM Consultancy Pte Ltd the following Placement Fee for their
services in securing an employment in Singapore. This fee does not include other services that
I may request or require later.

Placement Fee - I hereby agree to pay a Placement Fee equivalent to one month's salary to
EWM in addition to the prevailing administration & processing fee. Downpayment shall be paid
upon acceptance of offer of employment and before applying for the Work Pass. The full
payment shall be payable to EWM when the required Work Pass Approval is obtained and upon
my arrival in Singapore. In the event of withdrawal or failed to join by me after the payment, the
amount shall not be refundable and used to compensate for efforts and services carried out by
EWM. Fees are payable to EWM designated account with remittance charges for my own cost.

In event of any default on payment, I hereby authorize the employer, to immediately deduct the
amount, with EWM prevailing interests and installment monthly surcharge from the
undersigned's wages and pay it to EWM. .

The above undertakings and authorizations are irrevocable. I, the undersigned, hereby sign this
Placement Agreement voluntarily without any duress or coercion.
