P2P flow :

1. Requisition... (Distribution Tab details : Charge accounts for the Requistion


Line item)......
Approval of the requisiton...

go to requistions summary, query for the requisition that is approved and click on
open , select a purchasing document (PO , RFQ ....) to be created either manually
or automatic.....

2. RFQ : if RFQ is selected in the document and clicked on autocreate , then RFQ
form opens , where we give details
RFQ header : Ship-to , bill-to , due date , Quote effectivity , close
date , buyer.
RFQ lines : Line items ,Line type , quantity....all of which will
be auto-populated from the Requisition on which this RFQ is being created.
a.) Give the details of the suppliers in the suppliers
Tab, to whom this RFQ needs to be sent.
b.) Give the Price break details that you expect for
the RFQ line item (Point Price break , Range Price break)
c.) Give the Terms details in the Terms Tab.

Then change the status of the RFQ form to ACTIVE and save the form.
Then run a program 'Printed RFQ Report' giving the RFQ number as the parameter ,
which prints the RFQ report which can be sent to the supplier requesting for the
Quotation.

After the suppliers comeback with their respective quotations, manually create the
quotations for each supplier that they have sent (by email...) and click on approve
for the supplier whom you have finalized.

3. Purchase Order :
PO is created against the requisition in the requisitions Summary form by
Auto-create....or by manual creation....
((Note : A PO can also be created directly without any Requisition ,
from the Purchase Orders form))

Auto-create the PO :
Give the supplier name and his site while auto-creating the PO, which
will populate in the PO header.
PO Header details : PO Type , Supplier , Site , Ship-to ,
Bill-to , Buyer
PO Line details : Item , Quantity , price , need-by date ,
UOM , Category.
You can update the Terms , Currency
details.
Click on Shipment, give the Inv Orgs to
which the item needs to be bought in and the Quantity

Save the PO and send it for Approval.


After the PO gets approved....Run a program 'Printed Purchase Order Report' which
prints the PO which will be sent to the supplier.

4. Receipt:
After the supplier sends the material , Go to receiving to create
receipts for the items that you received.
Give the PO number to open the Receipt , give the quantity that you
received and the sub-inventory to which those items are to be stored.
Note : After a Receipt is made, a program called 'Receiving
transaction program' runs in the Background , which updates the status of the item
quantity received in the PO >> Shipments >> Status.
