tablets to collaborate with their peers to discuss
and share examples about the influences on
personal finance and career opportunities to
express their understanding.

Activity The students will work individually on creating a
presentation through the Prezi mobile app.
They will be given a rubric to check their work
by. This work will require them to use rather
recent examples from the United States
government to show their understanding of the
innerworkings of the powers and branches of
the government. They will need to show how

The students will work in groups of three on a
shared in app white board. The students will
find import pictures from online or draw their
own to help express their ideas about all the
different influences on what makes a successful
career and what leads a person to make a
particular career choice. They will also use the
sticky notes and brain map templates to write
out their ideas. They will comment to add input
to each other’s additions to the board.
