Why this topic?
● We thought it would be an interesting topic and we wanted to see how many
people cheat and the reasons that they cheat for. Many people are pushing
through and they all have different struggles going on in their life so we wanted
to see what decisions lead them to cheating.

Our data

● We found out that more females than males took our survey. By seeing
the graph, we can make the assumption that more females cheated than
males.
Our data

● More females cheat, but there were more females in this survey
● Majority do not cheat
● We realize that freshman cheat the most; the
reason as to why they cheat the most is
probably because they are new to the college
experience.

● The freshman who have scholarships also may

be nervous of losing them their first year of
college, so they may need to cheat to keep their
GPA up.
Our data
● We think more students are going to
cheat on homework and worksheets
because it is easier to do and get away
with rather than an exam or essay.

● Professors can watch in class, so it is

harder to cheat on a test or quiz
Our data

● It seems that the people who do cheat do it mainly because they need to keep a scholarship or
work.
Conclusion

● We concluded that we cannot be one hundred percent sure that Freshman

cheat the most, because 50% of the students who took our survey were
Freshman. This means that we would have to get the same amount of students
for each grade level to determine if Freshman actually do indeed cheat the
most.

● Overall, people do not cheat because they are sacred to. Therefore it does
not affect these people.
Errors and Limitations
● When gathering the data on the excel sheet we found that excel was not getting
the right data
● Giving people the option to choose more than one option for reasoning put us a
step back in figuring out our analysis sheet
● Questions we wanted to ask were not approved from the professor
● Technical difficulties started to occur more into the process
● Our GPA question did not seem to make it on our form and we needed that to
answer our question
● Not enough time
