Nació en la ciudad de Lima, Perú el 13 de
enero de 1973, pero actualmente vive en
Italia.
Es hijo de María Teresa y del cantante y
guitarrista de música criolla Rubén Flórez.
Con 17 años logro ingresar al conservatorio
nacional de música de Lima.
Se casó con Julia Trappe en la Catedral de
Lima en Perú y tienen dos hijos; Leandro y
lucia.
Ha sido galardonado con el Premio Abbiati,
Rossini d’Oro, Bellini d’Oro, Aureliano Pertile,
L’Opera Award, además de recibir el título de
“cantantes de cámara” en 2012.
Creó la asociación “Sinfonía por el Perú” para
ayudar, a través de la música, a niños y
adolescentes desfavorecidos. Actualmente,
existe un total de 3 mil beneficiarios y
dispone de 12 núcleos en distintas regiones
del país, donde no solo aprenden a cantar,
sino a ser mejores personas.

He is the son of Maria Teresa and the singer
and guitarist of Creole music Ruben Flores.
At the age of 17, he managed to enter the
National Music Conservatory of Lima.
He married Julia Trappe in the Cathedral of

leandro and Lucia.
