The 73rd TNI Anniversary

Surabaya has so many major of entertainment that held at every moment of

the year or a month . Some of the entertainment are always been waited by the
surabaya’s citizen . One of the most exciting entertainment that held in surabaya is
an exhibition of TNI's Armament System Main Equipment (Alutsista) . The Exhibition is
being held to celebrate the anniversary of TNI . The exhibition also has a purpose of
“showing force” and to entertain the entire to the surabaya’s citizen .
The 73rd TNI Anniversary series in Surabaya was enlivened with an exhibition
of TNI's Armament System Main Equipment (Alutsista) at the Madura Komando Armada
(Koarmada) II Ujung Surabaya Pier. The event was opened to the general public as a
form of weapon recognition and the ability of TNI members. Stamparmada II Rear
Admiral TNI Didik Setiyono, Commander of Military Region V / Brawijaya Major
General TNI Arif Rahman and Danlanud Colonel Pilot Budi Ramelan officially opened
the defense equipment exhibition on Saturday (6/10/2018). Carrying out the theme of
the 73rd anniversary of the TNI "TNI professionalism for the people", the TNI showed
sophistication defense equipment owned by the public. "We want to show the
community, our soldiers, our defense equipment like this. So that people know how
our army, our soldiers, "said Pangkoarmada II TNI Rear Admiral Didik Setiyono.
The exhibition was also considered as a form of TNI's responsibility to the
community. So that it can realize the spirit of patriotism and nationalism of the
people to the TNI. Several combat tools and sailing ships were shown , such as the
legendary ship KRI Dewaruci, Sigma class battleships, KRI Frans Kaisiepo-368 and KRI
Diponegoro-365, KAL Bawean and submarines KRI Ardadedali -404. In addition, also
seen Heli Colibri EC 120B Puspenerbal, Ranpur Marines, Torpedo, Pasusla like Kopaska
and Taifib, BMP-3F, Aligator, MLRS Vampire, Monobs, Hughes Radar, Acmad Rupanpur.
Other tools shown by the Army include MBT Leopard, MLRS Astros, Tank Scorpion,
Stromer Tanks, Tank Transporters, Anoa Panzer 6 x 6 APC, 4 x 4 Int'l Panzer, MMS
Missile, 1 LML Missile. Air Force Indonesia itself shows Aircraft Miniature, Korpaskhas
and Ordirga. TNI members also demonstrated martial arts and skydiving abilities.
Visitors' enthusiasm was seen when the members demonstrated Yoongmodo, Karate,
Taekwondo martial arts to parachuting. Once in a while they searched for photos from
their cellphones. The event was held on 6 and 7 October 2018, 07.00 up to 16.00 WIB
at Surabaya's Madura Koarmada II Pier.
Every year TNI always serve exciting show with the different theme, but with
the same purpose and intensity. TNI want to show and introduce about defence state
to every society, so that every people know that Indonesia has awesome, intelligence,
and powerful army. This event heve been tended for public, so every people can join
and see it. It can grows up public’s conviction to TNI and participate to watch over
Indonesia from every attack that threaten Indonesia now. So that this country can be
saver and more peaceful until grow from every aspect. Exhibition of TNI's Armament
System Main Equipment (Alutsista) is one of many public entertaiments in Surabaya,
this is an educate entertaiment that can grow up nationalism and patriotism.
