Physical Therapist—Resident. Complete all tasks and activities expected of the resident including, but not limited
to: manage a developmental outpatient caseload, provide physical therapy services in a school, participate in the
Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) program, read assigned textbook
chapters and research articles, engage in discussion with mentors regarding evidence-based practice, and self-
reflect on clinical skills.

Easterseals Crossroads, Indianapolis, IN August 2016 – June 2018


Full-time. Completed evaluations for children ages 3 to 18 with complex disabilities. Developed and implemented
comprehensive plans of care to increase function and address multi-faceted needs of consumers, including referral
to other services and recommendations for durable medical equipment. Maintained communication with other
disciplines, including occupational, speech, and behavior therapy to ensure continuity of care.

Franciscan Health, Indianapolis, IN October 2016 – June 2018


Registry. Performed evaluations for a wide variety of patients admitted to the hospital. Caseload included post-op
spinal surgeries, total joint replacements, stroke, general geriatrics, and oncology. Shared responsibility for
discharge planning in collaboration with occupational therapy and case management.

Adam’s Camp, Nantucket, MA June 2017


Worked as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide therapeutic experiences to children with
developmental disabilities in a camp setting for one week. Implemented treatment strategies to incorporate
therapy goals into multiple camp settings, including a puppet show, a family farm, and the beach.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Caring for Children and Youth with Disabilities, Cincinnati, OH February 2019
Educated fifteen high school and college students about babysitting for children with developmental disabilities.
Shared knowledge about specific diagnoses, behaviors, supports, and wants/needs of families. Supervised trainees
during a caregiving session and provided assistance, modeling, and feedback as appropriate.

Ballet Moves, Cincinnati, OH January 2019 – present


Assist children with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other motor impairments to participate in a modified
dance class at the Cincinnati Ballet. Encourage participants to learn actions and static positions specific to ballet.
Manage behaviors to maximize attention, participation, and benefit from physical activity with peers.
