THE HERSHEY COMPANY IS RELEASING A NEW LIMITED-EDITION CANDY

WITH PORTIONS OF SALES GOING TO MILTON HERSHEY SCHOOL

HERSHEY, PA- The Hershey Company is releasing a new signature candy, the new

Hershey’s Kiss candy will be flavored with mango. The mango flavored Hershey’s Kiss will

only be available during the month of June, in honor of national mango month, with a portion of

the proceeds going to the Milton Hershey School in support of the cost-free private school.

The candy will be available for sale in all retailers of Hershey Co. The new candy is

being released to help Milton Hershey School continue to fund their free private school for under

privileged children from pre-kindergarten through to 12th grade.

“The students at Milton Hershey School rely on Hershey to help them get a good

education and are grateful it ensures them a bright future,” said Peter Gurt, President of Milton

Hershey School.

is an American owned company. The company was founded in 1894 by Milton S. Hershey. The

original Hershey’s Kiss was released in 1907 and it was notable for being bite-sized, and conical-

shaped.The company has now expanded to a total of 11 flavors

Hershey established the private school Milton Hershey School in 1909 and created The

Hershey Trust Company to be the administrator of the school and the students. This has helped

students at Milton Hershey School prepare to be successful in college by providing a cost-free

private education to students.
