THE MOUNTAINEER SPAY NEUTER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IS ASKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

MORGANTOWN, WV – The Mountaineer Spay Neuter Assistance Program needs more

volunteers. The Mountaineer Spay Neuter Assistance Program is an all-volunteer, non-profit

that works to reduce the number of overpopulated dogs and cats by making spay and neuter

the most common and humane solutions. The goal of the non-profit is to eliminate the use of

euthanasia at local shelters as a necessary means of populations control.

The Mountaineer Spay Neuter Assistance Program offers different volunteer

committees as well as the Retails Thrift Shop located in the Morgantown Mall. The non-profit

offers the Fundraising Committee, which helps generate funds to support the voucher and

education programs the non-profit offers. It offers the Action Committee, which manages and

operates the voucher program. The Outreach Committee that informs and educates all parts of

the community about the importance of spaying and neutering animals, and the Membership

Committee that recruits new members and volunteers.

The Mountaineer Spay Neuter Assistance Program relies on the hard-working

volunteers to keep the program running. To volunteer, sign up at http://www.m-snap.org
