A Notice from the Supreme Court of India dated 23rd April 2019 was received at my in Jaws residence between 8:00 to 8:30 P.M on 23rd April 2019. The Notice says, *FAKE NOTICE THAT you are required to appear before a Committee of Hon'ble Judges of Supreme Court of India in connection with the abovesaid 0 TT As directed by this Notice, I will appear before the Committee of Hon’ble Judges on 26th April 2019 at 12:30 PM. However, I have some cor respectfllly placing before you The Notice sent to me by the Secretary General of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India did not disclose to me the names of the Hon’ble Judges who would form the Committee. ‘Shortly after receiving this Notice 1 learnt from media reports that the Committee has ‘been formed by Hon’ble Justice S.A, Bobde and will consist of Hon'ble Justice Bobde, Hon'ble Justice Ramana and Hon’ble Justice Indira Banerjee and will conduct an inquiry ‘inthe nature of a departmental inquiry and not a judicial inquiry. It is also reported by the _ media that it is an in-house inquiry and this Committee was made after a decision of the Full Court of the Supreme Court. and questions that T am{am extremely grateful that your Loniships have set up iis Commit t0 inquire RE toy Affidavit end the documents. | am hopeful that Your Lordships will after heating 0 . understand my suffering. Your Lordships have however formed an Inquiry Committee comprising of sitting Hon'ble Judges of the Supreme Court >, Lam told that under the Vishaka guidelines judgment laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the 2013 law relating to Protection of Women from Sexual Harassment (POSH), the Inquiry Committee to ensure impartiality and fairness must have majority women members. The Committee should have an external ‘woman member with an understanding of women’s rights and should also be headed by a woman. Addition to the above, I request you to grant the following requests {u) The Notice does not mention anything about the procedure which will be followed. 1 would request that { am informed in advance of the first hearing, about the procedure that will be followed by this Hon’ble Commitee. (b) 1 got to know from the news that on 20th April 2019 after I had sent my Affidavit to Your Lordships, Hon’ble Justice Ramana while speaking in Hyderabad at Centenary Celebrations of the High Court Building at Hyderabad said, “We have Seen such attempts in the past and we will see some more in future. Some friends in their private conversations are pointing out that criticism used to be against politicians only, But today, judges are also under attacks.
