SERVICES AT THE BARANGAY G.S. ROSARIO, CARRANGLAN NUEVA ECIJA

A work plan is need to ensure that a Barangay or Community can implement

activities in a rational and focus manner. The work plan provides by the Barangay officials

to describing the objectives and activities to be implement within a specific period of time.

It combines by the Barangay members or the people in the community and helps them

work together. The work plan is one of the bases for measure a Barangay officials’

performance and achievements.

Planning is a joint undertake by core team members, barangay officials and higher

sectors in the community. This provides adequate time to implement activities and

achieve short-term tangible results. Achieving results is important to understand a

Barangay officials’ potential to overcome problems and challenges when members work

together.

Preparing for the Planning

 Planning can be carry out through well-structured activities (fire drills,

seminars and workshops) held in suitable facilities in the community. To

conduct of fire safety and awareness campaign.

 Prepare the schedule and program of activities for the planning and

conducting a fire drills. Ensure that adequate time is allocate for discussions

and decision making. Require all the people in the barangay to be a

participant in the event. Secure the resources and logistics that will be

require for the activity and prepare all planning materials.

 . Manage the discussion so that everyone will be focus on the topic about

fire prevention and possible fire hazards and encourage everyone to

participate. Good time management is important, as is flexibility. In addition,


ensure that even barangay officials participate in all discussions and group

activities especially the drill.

 During the activity, firefighters discuss safety reminders and preventive

measures to avoid fire occurrence at home.

 Planners should create the monitoring and evaluation plan based on the

finished set of activities and expected results.

Fire excludes no one rich or poor, even young and old can be a victim. Negligence at

home is one of the common causes of fire that is why participants were remind about the

importance of practicing awareness among each and every member of the family (from

the youngest to the oldest).
