Assignment Title: Resume Reflection

Student Writing Goal: My student goal for this year is to score a 85% or better in all of my assessments. Accomplishing
this goal would lead me to always staying on top of my assessments and always working hard for what I want to
accomplish.

2) Complete this reflection sheet.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The purpose of this writing assignment was for me to have an idea of what I going to do after high school.
The resume is to prepare me for work or school, it explains what activities I have participated. The Resume
is to provide a summary of my skills and abilities. It’s a quick advertisement of who I am.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
The expectation of the writing rubric is a bit difficult but I will stay on top of all my assignments. Staying on
top of all my work would lead me to not falling behind on my portfolio. I need to manage my time wisely.

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
The aspects that I did the best is my experience in communicating with people and taking care of my
responsibilities. It was really tough but I managed to overcome the obstacle. In my resume including my
responsibilities I took care of paperwork for my super attendant and made sure all of concrete was poured on
the right time.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I Chose to revise this assignment because it was not well written.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
The next writing assignment I will revise it and make sure that all of my questions are answered. I will have
my teachers revise it and my peers. So I can get feedback on what I need to fix.

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
My goal for this assignment was to be successful in being responsible and getting to know my peers. I made
sure that everything was well organized. It helped me so much on being on time with my assignments.
Achieving this degree of success was difficult because it is hard to keep yourself organized.
