of how to use the short tutorial to get a better understanding on how this program work.
tool After you can create your class, if connected to Google Drive you can
add your students there. At this time, you should also start setting up
your lesson plan in the quests. As you are setting up your class they will
give you ideas to how your students can earn XP and lose HP. If they are
not what you are looking for you can create your own. After getting to
know your class you can continue to change to fit their needs. Once
completed let your students watch a short introduction video to see how
class craft works for them see the different characters they can choose
from. After students are then placed into teams by their teacher. After
being placed in the teams’ the students will be given a unique code to
sign in and create their avatar. Parents can also be included in this to
observe their child’s progress. After all, said and done your students are
now ready to conquer Class Craft.
Ideas for how the  Teaches the students how important it is to work together.
tool can be used  Students can see why HP was taken away and correct their
in PK-12 behavior or turn in assignments in on time.
 Motivation to completing work on time.
 Rewarded for good behavior.
 Students can communicate with their teacher and others in the
classroom.
 Parents can communicate with their child’s teacher.
 Students can also review for upcoming test or quizzes.
Positives and Positives
challenges of 1. The students have a say in what they can earn. They choose the
using the tool powers and with power has a special reward. They can choose
something for just them or a power that will help their team.
2. Students can make new friends as they work with their team.
When you create your classes teams, pair students who usually
do not talk to one another. By doing this student have to work
with new kids and might make some new friendships.
3. Positive reinforcement. When a student’s shows good behavior
you want to encourage it. By doing so you can give the student
XP points with a description to why they have earned it.
4. Parents can see if their child is behaving in class. Parents can
observe if their child is given XP or has HP taken from them. If
they see if their child is behaving or misbehaving they can also
encourage good behavior or help stop the bad ones.
5. Using this program is like a virtual game it keeps students
interests. Today kids love to play video games. Incorporating it
within the classroom setting is great because it will encourage
them to participate in the class, as well as behaving.
Challenges
1. High school students might not benefit compared to younger

Assignment
ages. This program is great for younger kids, but high schooler
might not see the appeal. At this age they really should behave
and if they don’t have different consequences
2. If not done consistent it defeats the purpose of the program. For
this program it will have to be on in the background. Only using it
once then returning to it later is not encouraged. It defeats the
whole purpose to why it was created.
3. Kids might not work with their team and just use their powers to
their advantage. Some kids might become greedy and not help
their team.
4. Students might become upset if they lose HP and want to stop
playing this program. Like many kids if they are losing they might
want to quite. We need to show them that they are not doing
anything wrong and that there is a reason. In this program they
encourage to give XP, so they learn the benefits and only take the
HP when it seems fit.
