TYPE OF TASK: Monologue


ROLES: Political expert
PURPOSE: Talking about what politicians in Colombia said.
PROMPT: You are a political expert and are invited to a TV show about Colombian politics. You need to talk
about what three famous Colombian politicians have said about the peace process.
The task requires the following aspects:
1. The task will be developed individually.
2. You need to talk about what three Colombian politicians have said about the peace process in terms of Special
Jurisdiction of Peace, Political Participation, and Reparations.
3. Two minutes to talk about the three politicians. Reading is not allowed.
4. Use the grammar structures (Reported speech) and vocabulary required to talk about what Colombian
politicians have said.

what Colombian politicians have said about the peace process; use
other sentence structures. Reported speech
Pronunciation: pronounce and produce intonation patterns of
basic sounds that allow the audience to understand the message,
without interfering with the meaning or communication purpose
of the task.
