ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang: Bayi dengan resiko tinggi membutuhkan lingkungan perawatan intensif,
cermat dan tepat. Perawatan dan prosedur tindakan berlebihan akan menyebabkan stres.
Untuk meminimalkan stress maka dilakukan developmental care. Pengetahuan dan
keterampilan cukup diperlukan dalam penerapan developmental care dengan harapan
kualitas asuhan keperawatan dapat dioptimalkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui
hubungan pengetahuan dengan penerapan developmental care pada bayi resiko tinggi di
ruang NICU RSUD Raden Mattaher Jambi Tahun 2018.
Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif analitik dengan pendekatan
Cross Sectional. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 orang, teknik penentuan sampel
menggunakan Total Sampling. Analisa statistik yang digunakan yaitu uji Fisher Exact.
Hasil: Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan sebanyak 11 (100%) responden yang memiliki
pengetahuan baik dan sudah melakukan penerapan developmental care dengan baik yakni 9
(81,8%) responden dan yang belum melakukan penerapan dengan baik yakni 2 (18,2%).
Sedangkan dari 9 (100%) yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang, sebanyak 8 (88,9%)
melakukan penerapan developmental care kurang baik dan sisanya sebanyak 1 (11,1%) sudah
melakukan penerapan developmental care dengan baik.
Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan penerapan developmental care pada
bayi resiko tinggi di ruang NICU RSUD Raden Mattaher Jambi Tahun 2018.

Background: High-risk infants require intensive, careful and appropriate environmental care.
Excessive treatment and action will cause stress. To deal with stress, development treatment is
carried out. Sufficient knowledge and skills are needed in the development application in the hope
that the quality of nursing care can be optimized. Raden Mattaher Hospital in Jambi in 2018. The
purpose of this study was to study the relationship of knowledge with the application of
development to infants.

Method: The type of research used is quantitative analytic by studying Cross Sectional. With a total
sample of 20 people, the sampling technique uses total sampling. The statistical analysis used is the
Fisher Exact test.

Results: From the results of the research obtained as many as 11 (100%) respondents who have
good knowledge and have implemented the development well consist of 9 (81.8%) respondents and
those who have not done a good application, namely 2 (18.2%). Whereas from 9 (100%) who had
insufficient knowledge, 8 (88.9%) implemented less care and more than 1 (11.1%) had implemented
the development well.

Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and the application of development to high-
risk infants in the Raden Mattaher Jambi Hospital NICU Room in 2018.
