CONFERENCE GUIDE
Dear Delegate,
Welcome to City of the Golden Friendship! Welcome home to the 27th Accounting
Teachers’ Conference and Cagayan de Oro City! For a pleasing experience while
attending the Conference, please be guided by the following:
• We shall start the conference with a Holy Mass to be celebrated at the
Trade Hall (10th Floor) at 12:30PM on April 29.
• We shall serve lunch on the first day (April 29) from 11AM to 12:30PM.
• Our Opening Ceremonies shall start at exactly 1:30PM.
• Pre-registration shall be on April 28, 1:30 to 5:30PM. Regular Registration
shall start at 7:30AM on April 29 and it will be the 9th Floor of Mallberry
Hotel.
• Your Conference Kit contains, among others:
✓ Your 27th ATC T-shirt – please wear it on April 30 (Tuesday) for the
Teambuilding Activities
✓ Your conference identification card
✓ Souvenir Program
✓ This Conference Guide
• We have anticipated 400 delegates in preparing for the kits and other
deliverables. We seek understanding from those who would not be
provided with these items promptly.
• Our conference venue is ideal for 400 participants only. We seek
understanding from those who might be requested to be at the 9th floor
with live telecast of the program from the 10th floor.
• Most of our room accommodation are triple sharing with 1 king or queen-
sized bed and an extra bed.
• Participants are requested to be in the following attire:

• On our first night’s (April 29) dinner and cultural night we shall ask you to
know the color of your t shirt as it shall be your team color as well. Team
building activities shall start on April 29 with some very simple activities

• On the second day, we will provide transportation assistance that will
bring you to Seven Seas Themed Park. Try to enjoy camaraderie with
other delegates and strategize for the teambuilding games while waiting
for your ride.
• Our discounted entrance rate at Seven Seas shall allow us only to use their
main hall and to take pictures within the vicinity.
• Let us pay due respect and courtesy to our Speakers/Presenters who have
diligently prepared for their sessions:
✓ Let us turn our mobile phones into silent mode while a session is going
on;
✓ Let us come punctually and finish each and every session. Ushers will
check attendance around the hall in 10-15 minutes after the start of a
session;
✓ Your participation is of utmost value for a dynamic discussion. If
you’re hesitant to stand up and personally deliver your question,
please write your comments/questions in a sheet of paper and hand
them over to our ushers or to the Session Facilitator;
✓ Evaluation process shall be done electronically. Mechanics shall be
announced during the conference. Please do your part in giving us an
objective feedback about the session and the conference as a whole.
• You shall be requested to double check the correctness of your personal
information particularly the spelling of your name for certificate printing by
visiting a website. Guidelines on how to verify shall be announced during
the conference.
• Your Certificate of Participation shall be distributed on Wednesday (May 1),
after the closing ceremonies at around 3PM. (soft copies of
materials/presentations used in the Technical Sessions will be posted via
our website.)
• Breakfast shall be served as early as 6:00AM at the hotel.
• We are doing our best to provide free transportation form the airport to
the hotel on April 29 but only on a first come first served basis. We seek
understanding from those who will not be accommodated by our limited
resources provided by our generous sponsors. Should you take the regular
transport of Magnum from the airport you may request for a special
arrangement for drop off at Mallberry hotel.
• Our conference shall officially end with our closing ceremonies on May 1
which is estimated to end at around 3PM.
