Cell Phone Contract

In order to protect all students, cell phone usage needs to be treated with
respect and set classroom boundaries. All students need to follow important
rules to keep others out of harm inside and outside the classroom at all times. If any
student does not follow and proceed to the following rules there will be consequences.

Expectations and Rules:

- All students must use their cell phones in case of emergency and contact use only. (Prior
communication with Miss Rylee)
- All students must only use cell phones if asked by Miss Rylee. (Some free time each day will
be given to students to use technology if needed)
- All students must respect others technology use at home.
- All students photography is limited to pictures of your school work and may not include
other classmates or any school staff.

Inappropriate use of behavior:

- Searching irrelevant information not pertaining to the activity.
- Personal use: social media, picture taking, etc.
- Cyber bullying- will lead to intervention and parent/guardian will be notified.

Consequences of violating the policy:

- 1st Offense: Verbal Warning.
- 2nd Offense: Phone will be confiscated. Student may pick up their phone after class, and
parent/guardian will be notified through a phone call.
- 3rd Offense: Students will no longer be able to use cell phone in class.

Dear Parent/Legal Guardian,

I plan to take many pictures of our classroom activities and your amazing
student. With projects, field trips, and exciting things our classroom will explore I
want to share all of these memories with you. I will share all of these great pictures
and videos on our classroom website. Your student’s name will not be disclosed on
the website.

Volunteers who participate inside and outside classroom activities please

only take pictures of your own student, our classroom wants to always protect
other students rights.
