Why this Project?
• Only the business development manager knows about the machinery
• Disruption of other important tasks
• Manager may be off campus
• Reference
• Information regarding the equipment is currently coming from recollection
• Directions can be forgotten or mixed up with other equipment
• Not promoting safety
• Other managers are not fully informed on how to operate the equipment in the building
• May be unable to contact business manager in the event of an emergency

SMART Objectives for Presentation
• By the end of this presentation, 50% of the audience will increase their
knowledge of the facility’s operations by being able to describe one piece of
equipment in the manual.

• By the end of this presentation, 50% of the audience will see value in this
manual by stating one way it is essential to the facility.
SMART Objectives for the Project
• After one week of the manual being finished, one other manager of the
facility will understand the information in the manual by correctly describing
each procedure on every piece of equipment.

• By May 6th, two different employees will show me where the manual is
located in the building.

• Annual check-up
