Course 3 – Final Project Guidelines

Your final project will have two parts: an oral presentation and an article.

Oral presentation (in pairs)

Purpose: describe orally a region and a city including different topics studied in the course.

1. Choose one region from the map the teacher will show you in class. Give your region a name:

2. Invent a city that is located there. Give your city an original name: ___________ (be super creative)

3. Describe the following elements about your city and your region (between 5 – 8 minutes):

Note: Be prepared for your presentation. Do not read. If you do so your grade will be affected.
4. Use craft paper with the following measures to create the map
of the region. Similar to this one:
70 cms Note 1: use beautiful pictures, drawings and
visuals.

Note 2: do not write sentences on the map,

50 cms
use key words and names only.

Note 3: make sure that you include the

characteristics and the weather of your region
and the surrounding ones.

5. Now create a souvenir from your region and present it to your classmates.

The article (in pairs)

Write a travel advice article about your region including all the elements mentioned in your presentation.
Convince a tourist why he/she should go there.

Divide your text in paragraphs (7 paragraphs in total). One paragraph is the introduction and the rest of
them are the 5 parts of your presentation (A to E). The last paragraph is the conclusion. Each paragraph
with at least with 4 complete sentences.

Note: Avoid at all cost writing information from Internet. Your grade will be 0.0 if you do so.
