ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
SOCIO-CULTURAL TEAM
11 – St. Bartholomew
SY 2018-2019

“A kind gesture can reach a wound that only

compassion can heal.”

The increasingly diverse world that we live in continues to grow and change. As educators
prepare children for their future roles in society, it is important to help them develop an
understanding and sense of tolerance for those that are different from themselves. The world that
they will inherit will be a diverse world that is full of different ideals and cultural concepts.

In this school year 2018-2019, I was elected as the Socio-Cultural Team Leader of our class –
Grade 11-St. Bartholomew. As the team leader, it was hard for me to handle things between my
requirements as a student and as a team leader. Being elected as the Team leader was scary for
me, the fact that me as a student is not that quite responsible when it comes to school.
Requirements are late, not done properly, or like requirements were not done.

This school year, the Socio-Cultural Team were still able to accomplish our tasks:

 Update our fellow classmates about the activities and programs that will happen in
school.
 Monitor our Mission Drives and Christmas Drives.
 Help our classmates in times of trouble in socializing with others.

Being the Socio-Cultural Team Leader, I am honored to also get the chance in serving and
supervising my classmates as we face this diverse world of ours. I may not have achieved my
goals as a leader, as long as we have faced and are continue facing this diverse world, I can say
that “Together, we have already achieved this goal – to face this world with different cultures and
being.”

In behalf of the Socio-Cultural Team, we would proudly want to thank our dear adviser, Mrs.
Cristine Bernadette Tolentino for guiding us and giving us those meaningful memories and
privileges. We want to thank the Grade 11-St. Bartholomew Industrial Sciences Class S.Y. 2018-
2019 for also sharing your gifts and blessings for the benefit of those who weren’t given the
chance to see this diverse world of ours.
Throughout the school year, we were able to learn various values that were carried out during
the period as we are doing our duty. We learned how to be productive. We’ve also learned how to
be generous and kind to other people despite of whom/what he/she is. We’ve learned how to be
students who cares for other people without expecting a return. Lastly, we have learned how to
socialize with the different cultures that every student and every person have.
