TRIAL GROUTING REPORT FOR CTC 1 m

Project : Compaction Grouting Dyke KNI Island 2A

Activity : Trial Job Mix and Pump Grouting

A. Equipment

Grouting Pump and Mortar Mixer Drilling Machine

C. Material
On this trial, we are using material as stated below :
1. Sand
2. Portland Cement
3. Additive (Fosroc)
4. Water

D. Trial Procedure
On this trial, there are some steps that need to be follow :
1. Start drilling holes with drilling machine to create a hole with ± 8,5 m depth.
The diameter of the hole that will be created are ± 24 cm. The Drilling
took around 11 minutes from 0 - 8,5 m on depth
2. Job mix formula followng the reference from Mr. Zhao (Geotekindo) with composition
as stated :
- Cement :1
- Sand : 11,5
- Additive : 0,1 (For Bore Hole No.2, No.3 and No.4 using 0,15 of Additive Fosroc)
3. Material Proposition based on unit weight (kg)
4. Mix material into a mortar mix. Mixing material until homogen took around 5 minutes
5. Add water and Additive slowly
6. After thorougly mixed, Check Slump value
7. If Slump value is higher than target, added sand or wait and mix the mortar for
another 3 until 5 minutes
8. And if Slump value is lower than target, added water slowly and mix thoroughly
9. Check Slump Value again after correction
10. If all step are done, start pumping.

11. While doing the material injection trial, will do a data record. The data are :
- Pressure : Pressure gauge are located on the output pipe.
The target pressure around 4 mPa
- Volume Grout : Volume of the injection material to grout every 0,5 m
-Time : The duration for how long the grouting process take places to
achieve 4 mPa for the pressure.

From step no.1 until step no. 10 took around 25 - 30 minutes to do

before can start pumping
