Foreword
Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Jesus Christ.
I praise the Lord for his grace and the privilege offered by
brother Justin Rajasekaran to write preface in his book. Once
again I praise the Lord for His kindness for giving this man of
God as a Professor to teach Theology and Bible in a systematic
way in our Zion Online Seminary.

Really he is a very lovely man of God with deep Bible

knowledge & revelation. I appreciate his thirst for souls and
doing ministry whole heartedness along with his tight work.

Now a days the truth about Trinity is a very important topic

to be explained clearly as it is going under many criticisms.
The most difficult thing about the Christian concept of the
Trinity is that there is no way to perfectly and completely
understand it. The Trinity is a concept that is impossible for
any human being to fully understand, let alone explain.
Hence we must try to understand and accept the truth as it is
said in Bible.

I have gone through this book and got many new
explanations and revelations.
Really he did a great job to make clear this truth plainly. All
explanations and examples especially the Hebrew words
study are wonderful. I am sure after reading this book you
will be very strong in your faith on our Lord and clear
understanding about the truth and make you more fruitful.

This book is a very important treasure you must open it use it

and preserve it.

May the Lord bless him and enable to write more books like
this.

Yours in His service,

Prof.Dr.T. Ramesh Joshua

The Trinity
Introduction
The doctrine of the Trinity is foundational to the Christian
faith. It is crucial for properly understanding what God is like,
how he relates to us, and how we should relate to him. But it
also raises many difficult questions. How can God be both one
and three? Is the Trinity a contradiction? If Jesus is God, why
do the Gospels record instances where he prayed to God?

While we cannot fully understand everything about the

Trinity (or anything else), is it possible to answer questions
like these and come to a solid grasp of what it means for God
to be three in one.

There is one God and within God are three personalities.

There is one essence and there is one nature. The reasons for
distinctions:
1. Identification: There is the obvious, in that there needs
to be a way of distinguishing the three members of the
Trinity from one another.

2. Ministry: There is a specific area of ministry for all
three persons of the Trinity. The Father is the planner.
The Son is the activator. The Holy Spirit is the
messenger between Father and the Son.
3. Subordination: The three have definite ministries and
places in the overall scheme of the decrees. The Father
seems to be the one that set the plan into motion, while
the Son is the one that provided the possibility of the
plan’s completion, through His shed blood. The Spirit
is the person that moves in the universe and in man to
do the work of the Father.

One God, Three Persons

The doctrine of the Trinity means that there is one God who
eternally exists as three distinct Persons — the Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit. Stated differently, God is one in essence and
three in person.

These definitions express three crucial truths:
(1) the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons,
(2) each Person is fully God,
(3) there is only one God.

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons. The
Bible speaks of the Father as God (Philippians 1:2), Jesus as
God (Titus 2:13), and the Holy Spirit as God (Acts 5:3-4). Are
these just three different ways of looking at God, or simply
ways of referring to three different roles that God plays? The
answer must be no, because the Bible also indicates that the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons.

For example, since the Father sent the Son into the world
(John 3:16), he cannot be the same person as the Son. Likewise,
after the Son returned to the Father (John 16:10), the Father
and the Son sent the Holy Spirit into the world (John 14:26;
Acts 2:33). Therefore, the Holy Spirit must be distinct from the
Father and the Son.

In the baptism of Jesus, we see the Father speaking from

heaven and the Spirit descending from heaven in the form of
a dove as Jesus comes out of the water (Mark 1:10,11). John
1:1 affirms that Jesus is God and, at the same time, that he was
“with God,” thereby indicating that Jesus is a distinct Person
from God the Father (see also John 1:18). And in John 16:13-
15, we see that although there is a close unity between the
three persons, the Holy Spirit is also distinct from the Father
and the Son.

The fact that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct
Persons means, in other words, that the Father is not the Son,
the Son is not the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the
Father. Jesus is God, but he is not the Father or the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is God, but he is not the Son or the Father.
They are different Persons, not three different ways of looking
at God.

The personhood of each member of the Trinity means that

each Person has a distinct center of consciousness. Thus, they
relate to each other personally — the Father regards himself
as “I” while he regards the Son and Holy Spirit as “you.”
Likewise, the Son regards himself as “I,” but the Father and
the Holy Spirit as “you.”

Often it is objected, “If Jesus is God, then he must have prayed

to himself while he was on earth.” But the answer to this
objection lies in simply applying what we have already seen.
While Jesus and the Father are both God, they are different
Persons. Thus, Jesus prayed to God the Father without
praying to himself. In fact, it is precisely the continuing
dialogue between the Father and the Son (Matthew 3:17; 17:5;
John 5:19; 11:41,42; 17:1) that furnishes the best evidence that
they are distinct Persons with distinct center of consciousness.

Sometimes the Personhood of the Father and Son is
appreciated, but the Personhood of the Holy Spirit is
neglected. Sometimes the Spirit is treated more like a “force”
than a Person. But the Holy Spirit is not an “it,” but a “he”
(see John 14:26; 16:7–15; Acts 8:16). The fact that the Holy
Spirit is a Person, not an impersonal force (like gravity), is also
shown by the fact that he speaks (Hebrews 3:7), reasons (Acts
15:28), thinks and understands (1 Corinthians 2:10–11), wills
(1 Corinthians 12:11), feels (Ephesians 4:30), and gives
personal fellowship (2 Corinthians 13:14). These are all
qualities of personhood.

In addition to these texts, the others we mentioned above

make clear that the Personhood of the Holy Spirit is distinct
from the Personhood of the Son and the Father. They are three
real persons, not three roles God plays.

Another serious error people have made is to think that the

Father became the Son, who then became the Holy Spirit.
Contrary to this, the passages we have seen imply that God
always was and always will be three Persons. There was

never a time when one of the Persons of the Godhead did not
exist. They are all eternal.

While the three members of the Trinity are distinct, this does
not mean that any is inferior to the other. Instead, they are all
identical in attributes. They are equal in power, love, mercy,
justice, holiness, knowledge, and all other qualities.

Each Person is fully God. If God is three Persons, does this

mean that each Person is “one third” of God? Does the Trinity
mean that God is divided into three parts?

The doctrine of the Trinity does not divide God into three
parts. The Bible is clear that all three Persons are each one
hundred-percent God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are
each fully God. For example, Colossians 2:9 says of Christ, “in
him all the fullness of deity dwells in bodily form.” We should not
think of God as a “pie” cut into three pieces, each piece
representing a Person. This would make each Person less than
fully God and thus not God at all. Rather, “the being of each
Person is equal to the whole being of God”.

The divine essence is not something that is divided between
the three persons, but is fully in all three persons without
being divided into “parts.”

Thus, the Son is not one-third of the being of God; he is all of

the being of God. The Father is not one-third of the being of
God; he is all of the being of God. And likewise with the Holy
Spirit. There is only one God. If each Person of the Trinity is
distinct and yet fully God, then should we conclude that there
is more than one God? Obviously we cannot, for Scripture is
clear that there is only one God: “There is no other God
besides me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none
besides me. Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other” (Isaiah 45:21–22; see also
Isaiah 44:6–8; Exodus 15:11; Deuteronomy 4:35; 6:4–5; 32:39; 1
Samuel 2:2; 1 Kings 8:60).

Having seen that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are
distinct Persons, that they are each fully God, and that there
is nonetheless only one God, we must conclude that all three

Persons are the same God. In other words, there is one God
who exists as three distinct Persons.

If there is one passage which most clearly brings all of this

together, it is Matthew 28:19, “Make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy
Spirit.” First, notice that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are
distinguished as distinct Persons. We baptize into the name
of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Second, notice
that each Person must be deity because they are all placed on
the same level. In fact, would Jesus have us baptize in the
name of a mere creature? Surely not. Therefore, each of the
Persons into whose name we are to be baptized must be deity.
Third, notice that although the three divine Persons are
distinct, we are baptized into their name (singular), not names
(plural). The three Persons are distinct, yet only constitute one
name. This can only be if they share one essence.

Carrying this concept over to the Trinity, it is not a

contradiction for God to be both three and one because he is
not three and one in the same way. He is three in a different

way than he is one. Thus, we are not speaking with a forked
tongue — we are not saying that God is one and then denying
that he is one by saying that he is three. This is very
important: God is one and three at the same time, but not in the
same way.

How is God one? He is one in essence. How is God three? He

is three in Person. Essence and person are not the same thing.
God is one in a certain way (essence) and three in a different
way (person). Since God is one in a different way than he is
three, the Trinity is not a contradiction. There would only be
a contradiction if we said that God is three in the same way
that he is one.

It is very simple: All three Persons are one God because, as we

saw above, they are all the same essence. “Essence” means the
same thing as “being.” Thus, since God is only one essence;
he is only one being, not three. This should make it clear why
it is so important to understand that all three Persons are the
same essence. For if we deny this, we have denied God’s unity
and affirmed that there is more than one being of God.

What we have seen so far provides a good basic
understanding of the Trinity. But it is possible to go deeper. If
we can understand more precisely what is meant by essence
and person, how these two terms differ, and how they relate,
we will then have a more complete understanding of the
Trinity.

Essence and Person

Essence. What does essence mean? As I said earlier, it means
the same thing as being. God’s essence is his being. To be even
more precise, essence is what you are. At the risk of sounding
too physical, essence can be understood as the “stuff” that you
“consist of.” Of course we are speaking by analogy here, for
we cannot understand this in a physical way about God. “God
is spirit” (John 4:24). Further, we clearly should not think of
God as “consisting of” anything other than divinity. The
“substance” of God is God, not a bunch of “ingredients” that
taken together yield deity.

Person. In regards to the Trinity, we use the term “Person”

differently than we generally use it in everyday life. Therefore

it is often difficult to have a concrete definition of Person as
we use it in regards to the Trinity. What we do not mean by
Person is an “independent individual” in the sense that both
I and another human are separate, independent individuals
who can exist apart from one another.

What we do mean by Person is something that regards

himself as “I” and others as “You.” So the Father is a different
Person from the Son because he regards the Son as a “You,”
even though he regards himself as “I.” Thus, in regards to the
Trinity, we can say that “Person” means a distinct subject
which regards himself as an “I” and the other two as a “You.”

How do they relate? The relationship between Essence and

Person, then, is as follows. Within God’s one, undivided being
is an “unfolding” into three personal distinctions. These
personal distinctions are modes of existence within the divine
being, but are not divisions of the divine being. They are
personal forms of existence other than a difference in being.
The late theologian Herman Bavinck has stated something
very helpful at this point: “The persons are modes of existence

within the being; accordingly, the Persons differ among
themselves as the one mode of existence differs from the
other, and — using a common illustration — as the open palm
differs from a closed fist”.

Because each of these “forms of existence” are relational (and

thus are Persons), they are each a distinct center of
consciousness, with each center of consciousness regarding
himself as “I” and the others as “you.” Nonetheless, these
three Persons all “consist of” the same “stuff” (that is, the
same “what” or essence). As theologian and apologist
Norman Geisler has explained it, while essence is what you
are, person is who you are. So God is one “what” but three
“who’s”.

The divine essence is thus not something that exists “above”

or “separate from” the three Persons, but the divine essence
is the being of the three Persons. Neither should we think of
the Persons as being defined by attributes added on to the
being of God.

What the scriptures say
John 5:39 - You study the Scriptures diligently because you think
that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that
testify about me,
The Jewish leaders knew these prophecies well. But they did
not recognise the Messiah when he came. They cared more
about the rules and the customs of their religion. And people
had made many of these rules and customs. We must
remember that we follow our Lord Jesus Christ, not a set of
rules. We must remember that only Jesus Christ can give us
eternal life. We cannot earn it for ourselves.

Genesis 1:3 - And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was
light.
In Genesis 1:1, ‘In the beginning’. The Hebrew word for
‘beginning’ here is also the Hebrew title of this book. The
usual English title, Genesis, is from a Greek word for
‘beginning’. And the New Testament writers wrote in Greek.

‘God’. God has always existed. And He will exist always.

There has never been a time before God. And there will never

be a time after God. The Hebrew word here for God is
‘Elohim’, which is plural. But the Hebrew word for ‘created’
means that only one person did it. This is because there is one
God. The Bible says that he is God the Father, God the Son
(Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. So Christians call him ‘the Trinity’
– in other words, ‘three in one’.

God ‘created’. The Hebrew word here for ‘create’ means to

make something from nothing. Only God makes something
from nothing. The writer uses that word in verse 1, and he
uses it in verses 21 and 27 also.

In verse 2, The earth had ‘no shape’ and it was ‘empty’. Until
God works, there is only confusion. There is no plan and so
there is no system.

‘Everything was dark’. This is like a description or picture for

us. It shows what it is like to live without God. God’s Spirit
‘moved gently’ over the waters.

In verse 3, ‘God said’ Let there be ‘light’. Any words that God
speaks are powerful. So when God ordered something to
happen, that thing happened immediately.

God made the light in order to show us his character. In

Hebrew, it says, (Elohim) He Himself turned into light or He
is Light or He became light.

John 8:12 - When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the
light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness,
but will have the light of life."
In Genesis 1:3, John 8:12, and 1 John 1:5 the word light in
Hebrew translated as:

Light =

Isaiah 60:19 - The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will
the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your
everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
This does not mean that the sun and moon will disappear.
Rather, it means that God’s people will not need their light.
Their light cannot compare with the Lord’s far brighter light.
And unlike the light of the sun and moon, the *Lord’s light
will never end.

The Light
The word “light” in Hebrew is “Aleph+Vav+Resh”. These
three letter is called light. Aleph represents unity, origin,
power, continuity. Vav represents nail or hook. Both have the
same function of fixing
something. The nail’s function is
joining two parts together. Resh
refers to the divine forces, it is the
movement of things destruction
and generation.
Aleph refers to Father, Vav refers
to Son Jesus Christ, Resh refers to Holy Spirit. The color

representation is blue, red, green respectively. Now, I want to
tell you a scientific truth that the primary colors of light
are red, green, and blue.

When these color join together produces white or light. That’s

the essence of trinity.
1 John 1:5 says God is light, in Him no darkness at all.
I Timothy 6:16 - who alone is immortal and who lives in
unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be
honor and might forever. Amen.

The below table represents the color and attributes of God.

From this we need to understand that Father, Son, and the

Holy Spirit are in one, means one God not three God.

Elohim [‫]אלוהים‬
Elohim is one of the most frequently used names for God in
the Scriptures. It is this word which is used in Genesis 1:1, “In
the beginning [Elohim] created the heavens and the earth.” In fact
the word appears some 2,750 times in the Old Testament. The
term "Elohim" means “supreme one” or “mighty one”. God is
great and powerful. He is the epitome of might and power.
This is why Paul says what he does in Romans 1:20. “For since
the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power
and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from
what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” If that
verse were in Hebrew instead of Greek we can be almost
certain that the word translated “God” in that sentence would
be Elohim.

In Genesis 2:4, we can see the word “Yahweh Elohim” has

been used in Hebrew

Let us look more closely,
Genesis 1:1, We can see the word “Elohim”

Genesis 1:2, we can see Ruah Elohim

As the word “Elohim” word is plural, it is said that Elohim,
Yahweh Elohim, Ruah Elohim. All are one. There are no three
god.

In Exodus 3:14,15, we read,

14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, Thus
you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to
you.’ 15 Moreover God
said to Moses, “Thus you
shall say to the children of
Israel: ‘The Lord God of
your fathers, the God of
Abraham, the God of Isaac,
and the God of Jacob, has
sent me to you. This is My
name forever, and
this is My memorial to all generations.’

In the above verses we can understand the word “Elohim”
used. It can be read in Hebrew scriptures, verse 14, “And
Elohim said to Mosheh, “I AM THAT WHICH I AM”. In
verse 15, And Elohim said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are
to say to the children of Israel, Elohim of your fathers, the
Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, the Elohim of Jacob
has sent me to you.

Let us analyse the

word “Elohim”. As
we discussed earlier,
the Hebrew language
is God’s own
language. There are
22 characters, each
has a meaning. The
Hebrew letters
Aleph+Lamed+Hey+Yod+Mem are formed the word
“Elohim”. Aleph is the first letter means strength / mighty.
The word of God says, He is Alpha and Omega, beginning
and the end. Lamed means shepherd’s staff. It represents

authority to lead. Hey means “Behold”. The pictorial
representation this letter is like man with open arms. It tells
us that Jesus Christ died on cross with open arms. Yod means
efforts. Mem means “water”. The scripture says He is the
living water. So Elohim is not a singular but its plural.

Yahweh
Let’s read, Psalms 23:1,2 -
1The Lord is my
shepherd; I shall
not want.
2He makes me to lie down
in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.

John 10:11 || Heb 13:20

"I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for
the sheep.

John 4:10
Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that
asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have
given you living water.“
John7:38,39 || 1 Cori 12:13
"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his
innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'" But this He
spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to
receive;
In Old testament, we read that in some places the angel of the
Lord appeared unto Abraham, Moses etc. Who is the angel of
the Lord who spoke with Moses and other prophet?
John 1:18 - No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son,
who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father,
has made him known.

John 5:37 - And the Father who sent me has himself testified
concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,
John 6:16 - No one has seen the Father except the one who is from
God; only he has seen the Father.

According to the above verses, no one has seen God, means
no one has seen Elohim. Then how did the prophets spoke
with LORD? To whom they spoke? Look at the book of
Numbers 12:5-8 - 5. And the LORD came down in the pillar of the
cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and
Miriam: and they both came forth.

6. And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among

you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and
will speak unto him in a dream.
7. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
8. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not
in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold:
wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant
Moses?
Who is the LORD who came down in the pillar of cloud? Who
is the LORD who spoke with Moses? It’s Yehovah.

Let’s consider the another verse, Hosea 12:4,5 - 4. He struggled

with the angel and overcame him; he wept and begged for his favor.

He found him at Bethel and talked with him there- 5. the LORD God
Almighty, the LORD is his name!
In Genesis 32:24-29 v24-And Jacob was left alone; and there
wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. The
scripture says a man but Hosea records he is the angel that is
Yehovah.

So we can not say that old testament talks about Father and
the new testament talks about Jesus Christ, the son of God.
These above verses nullify this concept. John the Baptist
records correctly in John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Also Jesus
Christ said that in John 8:58 - "Very truly I tell you," Jesus
answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!". It is very clear that
the trinity was there before the world begun. Elohim was
there.

Jacob was expecting GOD as SAVIOR. It’s amazing

expectation or it’s a revelation.
John 8:56 says, Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of
seeing my day; he saw it and was glad."

Genesis 49:18 - "I look for your deliverance, LORD. I wait for
your salvation, O LORD. I have waited for thy salvation, O
LORD.
Exo 15:2 - The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become
my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation;
my father's God, and I will exalt him.
The old testament’s righteous people were waiting for the
LORD to come. It has been revealed to them. The word
“LORD” refers to Yehovah or Yahweh or Yeshuva.

Let’s look more closely. Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who
was beaten and died on cross and rose again and brought us
redemption plan.
Let’s look at the word
“Yehovah Elohim “ -
Yehovah -- It’s a 4 letter
word and every letter
has meaning. Yeshuva
means, SALVATION. In OT, this word, YAHWEH /
YESHUVA coming 7000 times .
The Hebrew word used here is YAHWEH.

Our Lord God revealed the
truth through Pilate also in
John 19:19-22.

19 Now Pilate wrote a title

and put it on the cross. And
the writing was:

JESUS OF NAZARETH,
THE KING OF THE JEWS.

20 Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus
was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew,
Greek, and
Latin.

21 Therefore the
chief priests of
the Jews said to
Pilate, “Do not
write, ‘The King
of the Jews,’ but,
‘He said, “I am the King of the Jews.” ’ ”

22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”

Pilate wrote a title INRI which is the revelation of God. And
he was strong enough to hold the title. It is the God’s
redemption plan that Jesus – Yahweh should go to cross. The
word took many interpretations like, Yahweh = Adonai =
Kurios = Jesus

One of the most amazing things that I’ve found in learning

Greek is Paul’s use of Κύριος/Kurios (Lord) to exclusively
refer to Jesus. You can see his use of it throughout his letters:
“The Lord Jesus Christ”, “The Lord Jesus”, “Jesus our Lord”.
What most people don’t realize is that Paul is making a huge
point theologically in doing this.
• The Jews stopped speaking the word Yahweh during the
period 400 to 350 BC.
• Yahweh was replaced with "Adonai" ("My Lord") while
being read out loud.
• When the Old Testament was translated into Greek (300
BC), Yahweh was translate from Adonai which is
kurios/κύριος (Lord) in Greek.

So, how would our Old Testament look to us if God’s name
were actually translated? Let’s take a look at the Shema
(Deuteronomy 6:4).
Hear, O Israel: The LORD is our God, the LORD is one.
If we include the name of God in the verse as it actually
appears in the Hebrew, then it would be translated:
Hear, O Israel: Yahweh is our God, Yahweh is one.

The Holy Spirit

In developing the doctrine of the Holy Spirit based on the
scripture, it is simple to see that the Holy Spirit is a unique
person in Godhead. He stands unique in various activities
like creation and redemption of mankind. He also interacts
individually and personally with the other members of
Godhead. He becomes the manifestation of divine presence in
the church. Theologically He taught or introduced by Christ.
The Father is the primary source for the other persons of the
Godhead from whom the son is begotten and the Spirit
proceeds. The Holy Spirit demonstrates His unique person in
His work of redemption and sanctification of man. Many of

these activities are normally attributed naturally as evidence
of personality, e.g. teaching (John 14:26), convincing (John
16:7), and calling for service (Acts 13:2).

In Psalms 51:11 - Do not cast me from your presence or take your

Holy Spirit from me. The spirit in verses 10-12 means the Holy
Spirit, another name for God. It is the part of God that he puts
in us when we become Christians. Verse 11: Both parts of this
verse mean the same: David wants to be with God always.
During the old testament period the Holy Spirit was given to
do a special task and it is temporary. This is the reason David
enjoyed his presence and longing for more dwelling. In the
new testament, the Holy Spirit given to every one who
believes and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

The Star of David
The six pointed Star of
David is the sign of the
Jewish religion. It is
also called the Magen of
David. And is named
after King David. The
symbol also appears on
the flag of the State of
Israel. The star represents eternal light. There are two triangle
represents Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and Mind, Soul,
Body. It represents Sprit of God dwelling in man. It shows the
trinity.

In Romans 1:19,20 - Because that which may be known of God is

manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. V20 For the
invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly
seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal
power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Colossians 2:9 - For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead
bodily.

The God Head
The Father: Salvation originated with the Father. Ephesians
1:3-6 tells how the Father chose us before the foundation of

the world, and predetermined our adoption as this children

through Jesus Christ. The Father is the administrator of
salvation, and he oversees the process from beginning to end.

The Son: Salvation is brought to execution in the Son.

Everything the Father does for our salvation, he does through
Christ. The work of the Son means redemption, adoption to
the Father, reconciliation, sanctification, and glorification
(Ephesians 1:7-12). It operates horizontally as well as
vertically, and it is for Jew and Gentile alike. It is through the
Son that we achieve salvation and come into full relationship
with the triune God.

The Spirit: Salvation is communicated by the Holy Spirit. The
Spirit changes us from the inside out, preforming the gracious
act of regeneration. With this comes the gift of faith and the
spiritual ability to believe in the Resurrection. Through the
Holy Spirit, our salvation becomes a present reality,
applicable to our lives in our own specific context. It is the
work of the Holy Spirit in our lives that serves as a seal,
establishing us as children of God (Ephesians 1:13-14).

God is only supreme being in all existence, places and time.

He is Holy, Eternal, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient.
He is love, Light, Spirit, Truth, Creator, He is to be worshiped.
He is the one and one triune God.
