This procedure describes to make the natural and living environment clear by repressing
all kinds of wastes produced at Construction Site to the highest degree and through proper
disposal of wastes according to the relevant laws and regulations.

i. Assign responsibility to key personnel such as supervisors and foreman for the
proper housekeeping of waste and to be segregated by the owner of the waste.
ii. Shall monitor their own waste and recover any materials that can be used or
recycled through modifications (i.e. woods for signages, barricades).
4.0 Definitions
4.1 Waste
Any matter, such as grbage, rubbish, ashes, sludge, waste oil, waste acid, waste alkali,
dead bodies of animals, etc. Which becomes unnecessary for the human living or
business activities.
4.5 Recycling
Activities that reuse, re-product wastes or treat wastes to be reused, reproduced.
Hauling Permit System: Domestic waste or wastes that requires to be hauled outside the
project premises shall be signed and approved by the following personnel:
Requires hauling to the site temporary disposal area for metals, electrical wastes, and
wood.

8.1 Construction wastes shall be divided into four (4) kinds of waste segregation
bins, buckets or area. Waste such as plastics, metal, biodegradable, and non-
biodegradable shall be separated /segregated to each of its kind.
8.2 Construction wastes shall not be kept at the site after completion of construction.
8.3 Contractors should have waste segregation or temporary staging area for each
kind of waste.
8.4 Large wood and metal shall have a separate segregation area with proper
arrangement for easy access upon hauling.
8.5 Insulations, rock wool, used oil, and other hazardous waste should be separated
from the rest of the garbage. It shall be covered temporarily with tarpaulins,sacks,
or other means of condoning or safe keeping with the provision of barricades and
proper signage, if cannot be hauled or removed from site immediately. Dumping
of these materials shall be governed by the subcontractor who owns the said
waste at his own expense and coordinated to local government agency such as
DENR for the recommendation of 3rd party certified hazardous waste dumping
companies.
8.6 Areas that will be used as temporary staging areas shall be requested by the
subcontractor and should ask the approval from authorized personnel.
8.7 Any hazardous waste that will come in contact with the environment shall be
reported immediately to Site HSE Officer for the recommendation of proper
disposal spilled, scattered, dripped, etc.
