Select (S):

On Sunday 24th March, I taught Kg2 from Al Jood school in the classroom. The students learned
about the healthy and unhealthy food.

Describe (D):
I had a lesson for Kg2D students, the lesson was in the classroom. My lesson was about healthy
and unhealthy food. I wanted to know if students know what the healthy and unhealthy food are,
be able to give me at least one example for each one.

I try to make students exited for the lesson “today you are a employ you will make the menu to
the costumers so we need to harry before they come, if you follow the rules while we are sitting
you will have a star and who will have the more stars will be the star of the week”, I also give
them points on class dojo whenever they did well. I also ask them to help me to touch the board
for me just like my MST did to them.

Analyse (A):
Since I know that Kg2D are so active students they prefer to move instead of sitting on the carpet,
so I try to add an activity that allows them to move and search I think they like it. I gave them
two boxes to sort healthy and unhealthy food, “as you see we have two boxes which means we
have two teams, red team will sort healthy food and blue team will sort the unhealthy food”. They
have to work as a team to sort and get a star.
Students were knowing a basic thing about healthy and unhealthy food, they know they know that
candies and sodas are bad for their teeth, fruits and vegetables are good for our health and teeth.

Appraise (A):
I think students react well with me, they like the boxes game. I do think that my lesson meets my
teaching goals because they did very well in the activates, I prepared for them when they went to
their centres and they answer it correctly.
Transform (T):
Last lesson I was very nerves, but in this lesson I had much more confident and control the class
better than last time. I was more focus this time. I manage my time good, I finished the opening
in 20 minutes as I plan for, last time I plan for 20 minutes but it ends with 40 minutes. I was strict
with students if they don’t pay attention, I gave them red points on class dojo. I changed some
students’ places before I start the lesson so I can make sure they will be quieter.
My MST was very happy of me, she told me I did much better than last time.
