attainable by humans
 This has often been translated to “Human
Flourishing”
 Human Flourishing
 Arises as a result of different components
such as: phronesis, friendship, wealth and
power
 Acquiring these qualities will bring
happiness, which in effect allows them to
partake in the greater notion of what we
call “good”
 Elements that comprise human flourishing  The end goal of science, technology and human
changes as time change. “the good is
flourishing are related:
 People found means to live more comfortably, inherently related to the truth”
explore more places, develop more products
and make more money.

supposed to posses intellectual virtues that
will enable them to determine the truth
from falsehood or good reasoning from
poor reasoning
 This person recognizes that flourishing
requires one to excel in various dimensions
and should not focus in just one aspect
