Spot Admission to M.Tech ( I T ) and M.Tech ( CSE ) in IMIT, Cuttack

Spot counseling will be held for the un-allotted vacant seats in M.Tech (CSE) and M.Tech (IT)
as per the following schedule. Intended students required to appear for any one of the counseling
rounds.

Rules for Spot selection and allotment

• The candidates must be rank holder of OJEE -2018 .

• The candidates who have got final allotment in OJEE counseling process and have
already taken admission in any of the technical colleges of the state are not eligible to
participate in the spot counseling process.

Spot selection Round 1

• Reporting for Counseling at IMIT, Cuttack : Dt.09.08.2018 from 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M
• Merit List preparation : Dt.09.08.2018 at 3.00 P.M.
• Fees To be deposited : Selected candidates have to deposit Rs 10000/-

( Rs. 5000/- for SC/ ST Candidates) and

counseling fees of Rs 450 /- towards counseling
fees for confirmation of Admission)

Publication of selected candidates for Admission :Dt.9.08.2018 at 4.00 P.M.

Spot selection Round 2

• Reporting for Counseling at IMIT, Cuttack : Dt.14.08.2018 from 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M
• Merit List preparation : Dt.14.08.2018 at 3.00 P.M.
• Fees to deposited : Two Bank drafts from any nationalized bank
drawn in favour of Principal, IMIT payable at
Cuttack.
• Rs.450 /-
• Rs.10000 /- (Rs.5,000 /- in case of SC/ST
candidates)

Eligibility:

Passed Bachelor’s Degree of examination (B. Tech) in any of the following:

• Computer Science & Engineering
• Information Technology
• Information Technology & Engineering
• Applied Electronics & Instrumentation
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Electronics and telecommunication Engineering
• Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
• Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering
• Electrical and electronics Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Electrical Engineering/ Technology

OR
Master Degree in any of the following:
• Master in Computer Application (MCA)
• M.Sc. (Computer Science / IT)

from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University
as defined by UGC.
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST
category) at the qualifying examination.

2. Aadhar Card/ any ID proof
3. Original and photo copy of class 10th certificate
4. Original and photo copy of class 10th marksheet
5. Original and photo copy of +2 certificate
6. Original and photo copy of +2 marksheet
7. Original and photo copy of B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. certificate
8. Original and photo copy of B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. mark sheet
9. Residential Certificate
10. Original College Leaving Certificate and conduct certificate
11. Caste certificate
12. Color photo ( 4 passport size and 1 stamp size)
13. Money receipt
14. Affidavit in the form available in college website.
15. Proof of Blood group
