1. Describe the Code Lavender experience you or your group will provide (be specific and include the date this will occur) and event should NOT exceed 5
minutes.

On Wednesday February 27, our group will bring an oil diffuser and lemon oil. The diffuser will play soft, relaxing music while diffusing the lemon
oil. We would prefer the diffuser to be used for the duration of the exam, but only if the classroom permits it. Otherwise, we will use it for a two-minute
aromatherapy stress reduction prior to the start of the exam.

2. What is the Evidence Based Practice rationale for providing this type of experience/modality? Please include citation within the past 5 years.

In a systematic review titled, Strategies to Reduce Nursing Student Test Anxiety, the researchers found there was a statically significant reduction
in test anxiety in nursing students while taking an exam when lemon oil was being diffused or soft, classical music was playing for the duration of the
exam (Quinn & Peters, 2017, p. 147).
