Learning Experience Plan

Teachers: Coach Silva Date: .2019
Grade Level: K-2 Time: All Day
Activities: Kicking Down the Number of Students: 40
Bowling Pins with a soccer
ball
Equipment: Soccer ball, Cones, Poly spots
Equipment provided by me: Music
Facility: Gym

OBJECTIVES (2-3 per domain):

Psychomotor:
1. Students will demonstrate how to dribble the soccer ball to the poly spot
2. Students are developing locomotor skills. This helps students move from
their start position to the poly spot.

Cognitive:
1. Students will be able explain why foot placement is important to dribble
2. Students will have the ability to use this skill across different activities.
3. Students will understand why dribbling is an important skill and
understand how to control the soccer ball as they stop it on the poly spot.

Affective:
1. Students will be accountable for following instructions such as whistle
blows, where to stop the soccer ball, and from where to kick the soccer
ball.
2. Students will understand when to pick up the soccer ball after kicking the
soccer ball.

TEKS:
5(A) Use equipment and space properly
6(A) Respond appropriately to starting and stopping signals
2(C) Apply rules, procedures, and etiquette
7(C) Evaluate personal skills and set realistic goals for improvement

demonstrate and explain
the goal of this activity. I will
dribble the ball using my

ball to hit the bowling pins. I
will also explain my
expectations on dribbling
and proper form to kick the
soccer ball. Finally, I will

signifies to kick the soccer

means pick up the soccer
ball and bowling pins. Once
a student has had their turn,
they will return to their
group and hand the soccer

After my demonstration, I
will have one student
demonstrate as well.

time/group size, students
will complete each task (i.e.

DIFFERENTIATION
To help simplify the activity I
would either increase or
decrease the distance of
where they are kicking the
soccer ball. I would also
have a variety of different
soccer balls (soft/hard).

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:
My first expectation is to
have full participation. I
would also expect students
to understand my rules,
such as learn what each
amount of whistles means.
Also, I will examine if
students are kicking with the
inside of their arch as well
as dribbling.
