NOTE

Note I. Loyalty discount has been replaced with free calls which is available from the date of
activation for new customers. However existing customers will avail this facility from the date of
implementation of this tariff.

Note II. Charges for calls made or calls received while international roaming or SMS sent will be as
levied by foreign operator (inclusive of tax) and surcharge of 10% on such amount. In case foreign
operators do not levy any charges for incoming calls, then a sum of Rs. 40 per minute + actual ILD
charges applicable in the home network).

Note III. VPN service under plan 140 is available for corporate customers only.

Note IV. Registration charge is applicable when connection is not available on demand, it is non-
interest bearing and adjustable in the first bill.

Note V. International in-roamer means the foreign subscribers visiting India and using BSNL Cellular
network. Outbound roamer means BSNL subscribers visiting abroad and using the network of a foreign
cellular operator.

Note VI. Security deposit is non-interest bearing but refundable upon surrender subject to clearance
of dues. No security deposit is required for local/STD from the following categories :

• BSNL Employees.
• Employees of Central/State Government and central PSUs.
• Bank employees, who give ECS mandate from their own bank.
• Central/ State Government and Central PSUs.
• Corporate Customers (minimum 5 connections in corporate name)
• Exisitng BSNL subscribers upon request with following conditions :
(a) Fill up a mandate form to allow existing deposit of PSTN phone (Basic Telephone) towards
outstanding of the cellular phone.
(b) Connection to be applied in the same name as PSTN.
(c) Category of the connection (Local/STD) remains same as PSTN.

For ISD phones, security deposit payable as above and liable to be enhanced based on default in
payment in etc. as in case of PSTN telephones.

Note VII. Reduced call charges @ Rs. 0.10 per minute from all postpaid Cellular to BSNL
(Fixed/WLL/Cellular) within LSA is applicable under all plans. Under this scheme customer has to select
two BSNL numbers out of which one landline number is mandatory.

The terms and conditions are as follows :

1. The call charges for the two selected numbers under this scheme is Rs. 0.10 per minute with
60 second pulse rate.
2. All other calls will be charged as per plan.
3. The number once selected can not be changed for a period of six months except for some
technical reason.
4. This scheme is equally applicable to pre-paid connections (Excel) except "Excel Anant"
and "Excel One India" .
5. This scheme is applicable with effect from 16.07.2006.

Note VIII. Service tax as applicable will be extra.

Note IX. Plan - 140 is opened as a regular plan in all the LSAs.

Note X. These changes will take effect from 1st September 2006.

Note XI. All other terms and conditions will remain the same.

Terms and Conditions

GENERAL:

• Subject to the acceptance of the application and technical feasibility, BSNL will
endeavor to provide the Video Conferencing Service as soon as possible.
• The performance of the service will be dependent on the bandwidth of the IP
or ISDN line used by the participants using the service and any drop in the
bandwidth due to this will not be under the discretion of BSNL.
• Customers are free to use any video camera which is ITU-T H.320/H.323
compliant.
• The service is offered to the existing BSNL subscribers.
• The subscriber is required to fully comply with the provisions contained in the
Indian Telegraph Act 1885, Indian Telegraph Rules and the Information
Technology Act 2000 and any amendments or replacements made thereto
from time to time.

OTHERS:

• The service will be activated within 15 days of the form submission at the
Customer Service Center.
• The payment can be done by Cash/Cheque/DD. Cheque/DD payment is
considered as paid subject to realization.
• The service offerings are under the full discretion of BSNL and are subject to
change.
• Billing will be done separately for this service.

RIGHT TO TERMINATE SERVICES:

• BSNL reserves the right to disconnect the service to any customer in case
there is sufficient evidence of the customer intentionally or unintentionally
 using the service in the manner which would adversaly impact BSNL or BSNL's
network.
• The customer shall be responsible for using the service only for legal and
appropriate purposes.
• BSNL reserves the right to terminate the services in the event of non-
payment of bills issued by BSNL in accordance with the tariff plans opted by
the customer and the extent of usage or any default on the part of the
customers.

DISCLAIMER:

• BSNL will exercise all reasonable care in providing its services, but it is not
responsible for interruption in service due to power failures, equipment
malfunctions, or acts of natural calamity.
• BSNL is not responsible for subscriber's computer hardware and software or
areas of the Internet not under its control. BSNL does not warrant privacy,
security or efficiency of the Internet.
• BSNL is not responsible for actions taken by its customers or others as a
result of its services.
• BSNL is not responsible for material any person (including household
members of the subscriber) may receive or transmit via the Internet, or for
