21 , 2019
March 1-29, Quail Guardians Meetings: During advisory, our Quail Guardians help with the 12
2019 maintenance of our Quail Farm and learn about the quails’ role in our school
ecosystem. Students also conduct research in order to better care for the quail.
March 6, 13, STEM Sewing Club- Students design and create various projects, the focus project 15
20, & 27, is to create cloth pads and zippered pouches to send to girls in Nigeria.

March 4, 11, STEM SEL Mondays- STEM culture initiative at CSK where students engage in 340
18, 25, 2019 STEM challenges, reflections, and learn about notable women in STEM and are
exposed to a variety of STEM careers.

interview teachers and students based
off projected posted on their website, we
were commended on our commitment of
intersectional STEM education.
March 8, Daniel Goodridge, Metro Atlanta Beekeeper’s Installation of our indoor observation
2019 Association hive acquired through a grant with the
Bee Cause Project.
March 21, Daniel Goodridge, Metro Atlanta Beekeeper’s 7th grade students presented their
2019 Association findings on their PBL project where they
explored bee populations in Georgia as
well as causes for colony collapse.
Students were then able to harvest honey
from our honey bee learning center.
March 7, Silkie Farmer Met with principal to discuss raising of
2019 silkie chickens and care, acquired two
silkies for our campus
