Completed another year, nothing better than doing a retrospective of all the best that
happened in 2012 and what should not have ended and finished.
Let's recall some of the events that marked the year with regard to collecting and beer in
Portugal.

CRAFT BEER DIABOLICI
DCN BEERS, just put in the domestic market a Craft beer produced in Belgium.

Beer Diabolici is golden color with a creamy white of good formation. Its aroma is lightly fruity and has
notes of malt.

In the mouth is slightly sweet and spicy, with fruity notes, some malt, yeast and subtle presence of alcohol.

Although not as diabolical as its label suggests.

Its bottle of 750 cl or the cup, are a piece fantastic of collection, are an attractive apart.

Mcdonald exchanges Super Bock by Sagres

After about ten years with Super Bock,


McDonald's began serving Sagres beer in its
restaurants.
The chain has reached an agreement for three
years with Sociedade Central de Cervejas (SCC)
exclusive supply of beer and water, confirmed to
Dinheiro Vivo Nuno Magalhães Pinto, director of
communications and institutional relations of the
SCC. The agreement provides for the supply of
white Sagres pressure, canned and canned non-
alcoholic and Water Luso smooth and fruit (lemon,
passion fruit, apple and red fruits) to the chain
with 136 restaurants. The price of beer remains the
same.

Super Bock signed Christmas with special beer

“Mothers Christmas” offered beer in Lisbon and Oporto

2013 deserves a Super Bock was the theme of the year-end


campaign's main beer brand Unicer, which started on the 26th in

How to prevent beer from spoiling

're Thirsty, drink a beer decides. opens the beer. Drink a good goal ... and that is this smell? Worse, it is like

The science of oxidation (effect Possum)

this not only describes a beer gone bad.
You may not know it, but the smell of skunk is something very specific. Do not you mean: free beer gas,
rancid, bitter, sour, frozen or metal. When someone says that beer looks like a skunk, it's because it literally

This is caused by the chemical compound 3-methyl-2-butene-1-thiol. Dr. Malcolm F orbs, professor of
chemistry at the University of North Carolina, calls it "thiol skunk." Why? Because it is nearly identical to
the compound found in the anal glands of the skunk. These chemicals are called mercaptans and contain a
high amount of sulfur. We humans are extremely sensitive to mercaptans, and we can feel full and like them
even when they represent only a few parts per million.
Ok, that's disgusting, but how do these chemicals have reached their beer, which used to be so delicious?

There is heat
One of the biggest myths of beer is to take a cold beer from the freezer, let it warm up, and replacing the
refrigerator causes it to become oxidized. This is totally false. A change in temperature - especially one so
small - is not to blame for this chemical reaction. Beer stay hot for a period of time can and will affect the
taste (we will talk again on this later), but remember: this is the effect skunk flavor of a specific chemical
compound, the change in temperature does not cause it. So what cause?

It is the light
The opossum effect is caused by exposure to light. I will explain better. This is quite simply: the beer is
flavored with hops. It is an agent that bitter drink and helps protect it against bacteria, and has been used for
centuries. Reports about light beer spoiling dating from 1875, but it was only in 2001 that Dr. Forbes, of
UNC, discovered exactly why and how this happened.
(Hops are light sensitive, and the three main compounds therein which have been identified as being sensitive
to light are called isohumulonas. When hit by visible light or ultraviolet light, they break down and form
reactive intermediates, known as free radicals. That leads to that horrible taste and smell)
And that is why lighter beers with less hops are usually less susceptible to rust - there are fewer things that
can oxidize them. That's not much consolation for those who like to take stronger beers ... but nothing theme.
Lovers of hops have as to guard.

How to prevent oxidation


One. Storage: If you do not leave beer bottles in your refrigerator (where it is definitely should be), keep it
in a ventilated and dark. Obviously, sunlight contains many UV rays, then your beer should stay away from
it. But fluorescent lights also can emit UV rays. It's a very small amount compared to sunlight, but if the light
is constantly hitting the beer bottles out of the refrigerator, can be enough to cause an undesired effect.
2nd. Packaging: Clear glass is the worst to filter UV light. Green glass is a little better. However, brown or
amber glass does a good job at filtering UV light, although still necessary to minimize exposure to sunlight.
The cans are the best: because there is no way of passing light. Several brands of beer, even if imported, are
available in cans - and has no metallic taste. They have a taste similar to what was a beer barrel (which is
also rust-proof). That said, if you buy a package deal and it is all packed with cardboard, it's likely that
nothing happens, even if the beer is bottled in clear glass or green.
3rd. Origin: There are probably somewhere near your house where you usually buy beer. As she gets saved?

Age Drink

that has passed without refrigeration, point. And of course, even cold beer will get old - will just take longer.
A more responsible attitude to do in this case is to drink.

Conclusion
Take good care of your blonde or brunette. Indulge a little. Respect their delicate chemistry, and ensure that it

Ingredients:
1 can of condensed milk
1 tbsp (tablespoons) butter
1 350 ml can of beer (clear)
