Modex is one of the world’s leading manufacturer and provider of DNV certified cargo carrying units and

cabins for offshore oil and gas operations.

As of 2018, our global fleet consisted of 21,000 units whereas

over 18,000 units have been added to the fleet mostly in the

last 5 years. All units follow the latest industry standards and

we continuously work on creating innovative product and

solutions through dedicated research and development

resources.

Our manufacturing centre is located at China which allows us to service the global sales and rental markets

efficiently and cost-effectively while consistently delivering products of the highest North Sea Standards.

2. QHSE

Product Quality

that we offer are certified, tested, and used in different oil and gas field around the globe with latest design

that we’re able to adopt all types of operations and environmental challenges.

Our modern containers are:

All Modex units are designed and certified to the following standards:

We ensure that our fleet contains the latest

features, requirements, and compliance to code

(future proofed) by updating on the main regulation

and standard boards, continuously reviewing our

product designs and, most importantly, listening,

and communicating closely with our customers.

With a young fleet, Modex ensure the units are kept aesthetically pleasing in their appearance with no visible

damage nor rust. This maintains a quality brand image for both Modex and our customers. During the life

cycle of the units, we provide a maintenance and repair programs to ensure the quality during its life.

Note: Our units have been designed to meet North Sea and Norwegian standards and end customer

requirements such as Statoil and ConocoPhillips. Modex fully understand that design requirements / features

vary from region to region.

Some of the features of our fleet are well known and common in the industry. We will however highlight

solutions that are unique to Modex and these can be tailored for regional needs.

Service Quality
Service quality is key to running a successful contract and ensures a hassle-free operation for the customer.

We have an extensive experience in working with different customers with large fleet requirements such as

North Oil Company, Statoil, ConocoPhillips, and many more.

Delivery
A seamless start-up of a contract is critical to safeguard that the customer does not experience any delays.

Modex will work closely with customer to guarantee the on-time delivery hence operations do not suffer.

4. ENGINEERING

Our engineering teams work directly with manufacturers and senior Modex technical supervisors for each

region. All engineering activities are monitored from Norway.

Purpose
✓ To be the interface from the region to the producer to ensure quality

✓ Provide centralized engineering and design support for new parts and revisions

✓ To centrally implement best practices on quality and engineering and implement them to all new designs

Product Design Verification


Basic safety and overall designs are covered by IMO MSC 860, the DNV 2.7-1, EN 12079 and other relevant

codes and guidelines. With a latest fleet, we guarantee our customers to have the best in class both in

service and equipment.

In the verification phase we will evaluate:

✓ Units must meet the requirements of DNV 2.7-1 or EN 12079

✓ Safe lifting: risk of entangling, risk of falling objects etc.

✓ Safe operation: risks for the personnel loading and unloading

✓ Dimensions: restricted deck space, size of cargo

✓ Ergonomics: easy to operate, reduce need for manual work

6. SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Modex has a fleet of almost 21,000 CCU.’s globally. We can raise large capex to meet customer’s need if

required. A vertical integrated supply chain with rapid decision-making allows for an easy transition for new

build equipment.

We are also having very close relationships with all major global CCU, cabin, and tank manufacturers that

built up for over 15 years.

A multi-disciplinary team focused on providing first-class service to customers by developing and managing

a global network of suppliers and building sustainable relationships throughout the supply chain.

Key areas of development are:

Reduce manufacturing & logistics costs by developing fixed contracts, strategic sourcing of products and

improved management of internal processes

Reduce lead times by developing a group of KPIs and continuous improvement objectives

Improve quality of delivered product by listening to the customer, developing robust QC processes, audit

Modex has experienced a growth from 4,000 units in 2013 to 21,000 in 2018 through conducting several

large production projects. In particular, the project to deliver the complete range of offshore CCU’s to

ConocoPhillips’ operation in Norway, 2013 and Statoil’s operation in Norway, 2013 and 2015 showed our
